Wait really? I knew about the doppelstock in RSN being wrong but I didn't know about the 143 on MSB being wrong! What I find funniest about all that is I specifically remember DTG saying that they won't put the 146 on RSN because "it doesn't run there in real life" and so they don't want to add it. But... the 143 CAN run on MSB... and yet it doesn't run there in real life... That's the exact same situation, but they made different decisions for some reason.
At least on MSB the BR 112 does operate, which looks more than less identic to the 143. Under the hood it's a very different locomotive nonetheless, having a top speed of 160 km/h/100 mph (same as the 146), as opposed to the 143 120/75. Perhaps that's what DTG tried to replicate there...
This week comes probably the Announcement on Gamescom for the Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Innsbruck Hbf route with Talent 2. a German YouTuber got invited for the event and can maybe a video from the route Dovetail is lazy to make always the wrong trains like on Ruhr Sieg Nord or Main Spessart Bahn, the Banking Service was working by the BR 151 on MSB as Main Locomotive.
He said he is on Tuesday at the Gamescom, if he can really play or see the route, it comes probably in September out, because it’s already finish then. I hope they make a lot of routes and Loco DLC“s on TSW 2020 like the MP36PH and Baby Bullet Cars or finally Accurate Trains like the DB BR 425 for RSN and MSB, the train from Aschaffenburg to Heigenbrücken is also wrong, because the 425 was driving this Part, the 146 with Doppelstockwagen are drives only from Frankfurt Main to Würzburg or Bamberg, or on TSW Aschaffenburg to Gemünden
Did they say whether it was just the Talent 2 or not? It would be kind of disappointing (still an amazing route I would totally buy, but disappointing anyway) to just come with one reused train. Also, that sounds like a pretty good confirmation to me. If they do get pictures or video, please try to post them here, that's exciting! The whole route released immediately after another thing isn't completely unheard of- LIRR was released on November 27, 2018 and NTP was released on December 13th.
He said this on a German Train Sim World Group on Facebook. He was answer under a Topic where people talked about the DB BR 2442 Talent 2 with Bahnland Bayern Logo and about the Werdenfelsbahn/Mittenwaldbahn Route. He have 249.535 follower on YouTube.
Nice! (Here's a google translated version for people who don't speak German and don't want to manually type all that in or use an OCR) Spoiler: Translation Ansgar Nordheim- Yeah, I'm also confident that we can record the track of the new DLC Tobi Bo- do you mean Peninsula Corridor or the German the route most likely in September? Ansgar Nordheim- The German route Tobi Bo- When are you at Gamescom at Dovetail? could you then ask when an update for the train target display for the talent 2 and the 143 comes? Ansgar Nordheim-Tuesday
I saw that the ICE are also drive on the Mittenwaldbahn Route from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Innsbruck Hbf, but as we know Dovetail, there want no ICE Train pretty sure.
Yes it’s Train Sim World, because the Group is only Talking about TSW and the discussion was about the Talent 2 Photo with the 2442 Number, this Route is already on Train Simulator since 2017
Why wouldn't they want that though? I don't think they'd put it in the route, but it would make a great loco DLC. Funny coincidence I just noticed, the TS19 Mittenwaldbahn route was released right after the TS19 Peninsula Corridor DLC.
If the Mittenwald-Bahn arrives, it has the same rolling stock like in Train Simulator hopefully. Especially the ÖBB2016 would be very nice.
They talked about Diesel Locos on German Routes, so the ÖBB 2016 can the first one, Because it’s half Austria and half Germany the Mittenwaldbahn to Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Wouldn't mind the MRCE or Dispolok livery either. At least according to TS19, DTG have the license for both
I just saw a video about the line from Knappenburg in Germany to Wegliniec in Poland, where the two countries have invested millions and millions and more millions to electrify it, give it a second track and upgrading it to 160 km/h. When they were finished they realized there are barely any electric locos capable and certified for running in Germany and Poland. So some 95% of trains there continue to use diesel engines. And the passenger trains? Well first there hardly are any, and the ones that do run use the VT 650 DMU, which is tiny and still way big enough for the few riders that line sees. Still way tiny enough though that there is nothing near their capacity as far as EMUs go. Maybe a 2-car Talent 2 or Flirt. So. Electrified? Yes, but nobody uses it. 160 km/h? Yes, but nobody uses it. 2 tracks? Yes, and both are indeed used. However there's so little traffic that one track would have been enough.
The 143 was driving on Ruhr Sieg Nord before the DB 425 and 426 get the service on the Ruhr Sieg Express but with n-Wagen, and the RB56 had Doppelstockwagen with third generation not fourth
That can only be the Rostock route that there has been rumors (and a bit of evidence) about for at least a year now.
No it’s pretty sure the Mittenwaldbahn from TS because Dovetail leaked the 2442 Talent 2 with Bahnland Bayern Logo and this Train is only driving between München Hbf and Innsbruck Hbf 158 Kilometer
That is exactly what people said (including myself) when the first hints of MSB came out. It wasn't. They threw the whole US--UK-DE order out the window when they released TVL.
I guess this might be a good place to ask- whats the word on UK EMUs from the 70s and 80s making an appearance at some distant point in the future? Door slammers are a nostalgic part of my 'yoof' and would look great alongside the period diesels we already have..
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. And again. And again: We have enough old British stuff for now. Let us youngtimers have some fun too for a change. My yoof was mostly 1970's/80's trains as well, and boy am I glad they got scrapped. Fun fact: In my school days, I actually got myself an internship at a certain scrapyard near Cologne so I could see a few BR 110s getting torn into pieces.
Why does having an EMU available bother you? Why not have an EMU and also whatever locomotion you would like as well? Its not like anyone is forcing you to buy it.
Today was the official Gamescom Start in Cologne Germany, I wonder when Dovetail want announced the Mittenwaldbahn DLC Release. And if we get after the confirmation the YouTube video by the German Let’s Player
Oh, the EMU part is not what bothers me at all. In fact I'd love to get an electrified British route finally! The era is the point.
Please stop acting as if a historic route for TSW was the exception instead of the rule. The opposite is the case. And yeah... the next historic UK DLC may well be the first route I skip, unless there are some very good other reasons to convince me. (Like electrification for example)
It's not open to the public yet, only industry insiders for now. I suppose that doesn't include some random LPer
Im still not entirely clear why if it isnt what you want then no-one else can have it either. Im only asking if EMUs from the 80s might become available at some point, hardly heretical thinking.. if you dont want this type of stuff then dont get it. But you not wanting something shouldnt automatically stop someone else from enjoying it..
He said he was invited, i saw other YouTuber Upload FIFA 20 Videos from the Gamescom today, they not random visiter because most of the YouTube guys get the rights to create some videos from new stuff or like IGN to show all of this Gameplay Videos to promote the new games. We must wait and see when Dovetail Announcing the German DLC, because they not allowed to confirm spoilers or speak about it. Dovetail is only at the Gamescom for invited Visiters.
If they wanted to keep this secret, I feel like they just wouldn't have said anything at all. Not so sure about this, DB628
Which of both routes you personally prefer? I would prefer the Mittenwaldbahn. It goes true the Alps. I panoramic view on the Alps would be awesome.
Yes Mittenwaldbahn is amazing, I saw the full route on Train Simulator 2017, it’s a unique Route and we Never got anything like this on TSW yet. It’s 58 Kilometer but we drive 80 minutes because of the Speed Limit from 60 to 80 km/h only
The BR 151 is a Freight Locomotive for Ruhr Sieg Nord and Main Spessart Bahn. It’s not true, it’s a DLC for Train Simulator but from VirtualRailroads. Dovetail have the full DB License for create anything, that’s not a problem to make his own version from the 151 Loco or from the trains 425 and 426 for Ruhr Sieg Nord
No, they mean access as in resources to create the locomotive in high enough detail for TSW. Not licensing.
Maybe they bring it together with the BR 294 and call it German Freight Pack in the Future. But the 425/426 should be easy to create or get hand on it, also there a lot of great Quality photos, it’s a most popular train for DB Regio like the Doppelstockwagen and it’s drive in many City’s. Dovetail is now in Cologne so they had the chance for the new Diesel Lint to get all the details they need or the 423 S-Bahn for Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich or Stuttgart
With do you mean TrainSim-Dmitri ? But the Mittenwaldbahn from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Innsbruck Hbf or Werdenfelsbahn from München Hbf to Garmisch-Partenkirchen already spoiled in TSW 2020 because your team show us the 2442 Talent 2 number with Bahnland Bayern Logo and it’s the only route that included a 2442 Talent 2. i know pretty well about the Routes and Trains because It’s my Country, that’s why I found out that you included the wrong trains on Ruhr Sieg Nord for Hagen to Siegen/Finnentrop or the Banking Loco on Main Spessart Bahn same with the Train to Heigenbrücken. Ruhr Sieg Nord had the BR 425 or mostly the BR 426 in Double Traction, the Train to Heigenbrücken was the DB BR 425 as well and the Banking Loco was the DB BR 151. Also for some corrections the DB BR 182 are never drives on Ruhr Sieg Nord or Main Spessart Bahn, it’s drives only on DB Regio since 2009. And on Main Spessart Bahn was the DB BR 112 with Doppelstockwagen or Modus Wagen and not the BR 143.
Kind of makes sense that if they've included the wrong trains on other routes that they could include the wrong trains in that picture... Also you comment is totally logical, so should it be in a baseless thread?
Already create a thread for it about Ruhr Sieg Nord , but none from Dovetail has answered yet, and somebody quoted me in this thread about the wrong Trains I mentioned. I ask not for give us free updated DLC“s for the Route, even if Dovetail makes a lot of mistakes with the German Trains on RSN, they can make a separate DLC with the BR 425 and 426 and sell it for like 14€ Plus the Doppelstockwagen from RB56 to drives to Iserlohn was third generation not fourth
