Hello, danke erstmal für dein Interesse an meinem Projekt .
Derzeit ist noch nicht absehbar wie ich Strecke verfügbar sein wird. Jetzt steht erstmal der Bau im Fokus!

Update June 8th 2024:
Hello everyone, I am sorry that it has been a while since there was an Update on my Project. I was able to get a lot done since the last Update:
- Langenhagen Mitte - Großburgwedel is nearly done!
- The Stations Isernhagen and Großburgwedel are compleatly done!
- I transitioned to the Foliage from Vorarlberg, which looks amazing! This is planned for the entire Route!
Currently, the progress reaches to the forest, close to the Village Wettmar

Right tracks go towards Uelzen/Hamburg (Hauptstrecke), left tracks are the S-Bahn Route for the S4 to Bennemühlen and S5 to Hannover Airport

Very nice to see the progress you make!
You once mentioned you may do a short ride over the nearly finished parts, are you still planning to do this? I noticed there was a problem with the player glitching through the map, could you figure this out?

 

Will there be another one after the project ends? (Hannover - Braunschweig - Helmstedt - Magdeburg would be nice) there is also a lot of RE, RB, IC, ICE and freight transport

 

One question, do you set your grass manually? Or through the Automatic Grass Spawner

 

Sadly, I still keep falling out of the world. I tried everything others said might fix the issues, but nothing helped. Also, I will not be able to make any progress for the next 2 Months since I will be traveling I will respond to everything happening here though

 

I just use the Foliage Mode

 

Mhm, I can not say a lot for now, but Hannover - Braunschweig is my Stammstrecke. I have spent almost all my childhood there watching trains and traveling around. There might be an Update in a couple years, when Hannover - Hamburg is done, to add Lehrte - Braunschweig. But I can not make any promises yet

Erst einmal meine Hochachtung zu diesen Projekt. Vor allem die Bilder von Isernhagen HB und Großburgwedel haben mich echt vom Hocker gehauen. Isernhagen scheint tatsächlich nahezu Photorealistisch zu sein. Ich habe vor seeeehr langer Zeit dort dicht am Bahndamm gewohnt und Ja nahezu Pefekt. Ich wünschte mir diese Detailverliebtheit auch vom Dovetail im TSW...

Kannst du z.Z. absehen wann das Projekt fertig werden könnte oder so etwas wie eine Tineline für Teilstrecken welche als Beta vorab erscheinen könnten?

 

Wird es auch den Bahnhof Hamburg Elbbrücken geben?

 

Ja dieser ist Teil des Projektes. Ob es Fahrzeuge für die S-Bahn Hamburg geben wird kann ich derzeit noch nicht sagen.

 

Erstmal vielen Dank für dein Interesse an meinem Projekt. Derzeit kann ich noch nicht absehen wann das Projekt fertig sein wird. Ich denke 1 bis 2 Jahre mindestens. Ich werde in Zukunft mal wieder Timelines rausbringen, derzeit bin ich aber im Urlaub weshalb es erst ab Mitte August wieder Progress geben wird. Für den jetzigen Progress habe ich circa 3 Monate gebraucht. Also das wird noch einige Zeit dauern. Ob es einen frühen Teil-Release geben wird (zum Beispiel: Hannover - Uelzen) kann ich derzeit noch nicht sagen.

Update am 7.9.2024
Nach der etwas längeren Pause ging es wie versprochen in den letzten Wochen mit dem Development von Hannover - Hamburg weiter! Der derzeitige Bauabschnitt ist von Lüneburg nach Hamburg. Die Strecke vom Kilometer 134.2 (kurz hinter Lüneburg) bis 140.0 (zwischen Bardowick und Radbruch) ist nahezu komplett fertig! Kilometer 140.0 bis Radbruch ist bereits in Vorbereitung. Do you Need Pictures or Videos of the Part between LG and WL? I hope really much you do it complete and dont give up, it is really a lot of work!!! This needs to be done finally in TSW5

 

I wouldnt even mind if it takes till tsw7- considering the longer itll take the higher quality itll eventually become!

Might I give you the tip, that you should implement more roughness to your landscape material. I once had the same problem with landscape looking too plastic. I can send you a picture of the needed setup tomorrow if you want.

 

Hello TSN, hows going? Are u planning to rebuild the train stations also 1:1? And how about the areas Maschen Güterbahnhof and Metronom Uelzen Center?

 

thanks, the problem is I don't know how. Another Problem are the holes I got in my map for which I posted multiple threads for already. That issue is slowing the development down by a lot

 

fairly well, yes it is planned to built the entire route 1:1. Currently the holes in my map make development impossible currently. I posted that issue multiple times already but no one has been able to help me :/

 

Well, I don't know anything about the holes, but I can show you the picture. You just have to search for "constant" and attach it to roughness. Type in "1" for the value and then the landscape looks less reflecting than before.

Since it was a long time since it was mentioned, is there any progress with the br 490?

hi, the problem with the missing tile is finally fixed!!!! . Unfortunately there has not been any progress made with the Br 490. Right now, the Metronom Doppelstockwagen and the route itself have priority. I am sorry to say this but right now, it's looking like there probably won't be a Br 490. Since this Project is massive enough already I don't really have the time to work on the 490 yet. But I'll see, maybe it will come later on in an update or so. This will depend on how difficult it is to mod vehicles, I haven't even looked at anything regarding vehicle modding since currently my main focus is on the route.
In conclusion, I wouldn't say that the 490 is canceled completely, but just not planned at the moment .

Fine for me, im here for the route that is in the main focus and not the 490.
Regarding the high entry Dostos, after that much suggestions and season of reveals going on, wouldnt it be an option to wait for Dtg to make them? Would save much work I think.

Last Update 2024!
Hi everyone, unfortunately this is the last progress Update for 2024 . Today I wanted to share with all of you the final progress I was able to make since September.
I have been working on the Hauptstrecke Hannover-Hamburg for 13 Months now, my first post was on November 7, 2023. Honestly, I underestimated the size and complexity of my project, but I will take on this challenge! I want to finish this, but sadly, I don't think this is going to be any time soon. From my current perspective, I don't see a release anywear close in 2025. But I hope, I might be able to finish half of the Project in the next year or so. Currently, Hamburg - Uelzen is my main Fokus. But building Cities such as Hamburg takes a very long time.
How far is the Project currently?
Hamburg Hbf - Veddel: good Progress, Terrain final, Bridges close to done, Scenery started
Veddel - Harburg: fairly Final, just area around Süderelbbrücken needs more work
Harburg Station: Not Started
Harburg - Meckelfeld: Tracks done, Terrain final, scenery close to track mostly done, far scenery barely started
Meckelfeld - Radbruch: NO PROGRESS
Radbruch - Lüneburg: mostly done, scenery close to track final, far scenery beginning stage
Lüneburg - Celle: NO PROGRESS
Celle - Hannover-Nordstadt: terrain done, tracks done, bridges done, close scenery done, far scenery mostly done, only detail work necessary
Hannover-Nordstadt - Kleefeld: early stage, last progress 9 Months ago
Kleefeld - Ahlten: mostly done, close scenery final, far scenery needs work

Finished Stations: Nordstadt, Vinnhorst, Langenhagen Mitte, Pferdemarkt, Großburg Wedel, Isernhagen
Started Stations: Hamburg Hbf, Harburg

I hope this little overview gives a good idea of how far the project currently is. I will not be able to do anymore work between now and mid January. Therefore Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. I will be available to answer any questions
