    What’s even more ridiculous is this individual has brought something from elsewhere that had absolutely nothing to do with them or this forum, signed up here then intentionally derailed this thread because they’ve supposedly taken offence on someone else’s’ behalf.

    I’ve never done it before (because I don’t really believe in it) but I’ve reported these posts as they are the most obvious bit of trolling I’ve ever seen. Whether or not they choose to quit it doesn’t really matter, please just ignore it and get the thread back on track.

    Congrats for this fantastic mod guys. This really brings huge upgrades of the route scenery and timetable. Can't wait for you guys to also squeeze some freight In there. Love the extra 800/390 liveries to!

    I would really love to, the only issue is it’s going to require an interior remodel. Never say never, but I’m not confident enough in my modelling skills at the moment to go through with that.

    I've just had my first play. Couldn't wait until the weekend to drive the HST measurement train. What a nice bonus to get this in the game. I enjoyed the route as it was, but this EP makes it much much better. Timetables make a route for me and it's a great improvement (as was Fife Circle). really looking forward to more playtime. Really amazing what you all have done in such a short period.

    Good isn’t it. If you use GodMode I would recommend anywhere between 0.001 - 0.003 on the fog setting there. Makes it look amazing.

    I meant to say that although somewhat lost in the noise, I was playing WCMLS earlier and the game does look incredible at this point. At times it’s bordering on photorealism with the lighting set up correctly. As much stick as DTG get, some justified most not, they have to be congratulated for where the game is. A bit more consistency and it could really be streets ahead of anything else imho.

    Just spent some time at Watford at 17:00 in October for half an hour, enjoying the lighting and watching the comings and goings then catching a train into Euston, great passing all the new traffic.

    look forward to the freight being added and more of the 805 services (I've seen services to Chester but not Holyhead as yet).

    What I'm really looking forward to in future though is driving the 87 on a railtour and with the announcement of Nov 21st release, I won't have to wait long

    I hope one day DTG will fix the light coming through the bridges. That's the only thing that really catches the eye.

    A big thank you to all the modders involved in creating this EP and TT, I'm sure you've all had a hectic week getting this released and following up on bug hunting etc. Just about everything seems to run fine for me, including all the special liveries and Flying Banana, however, I do get a very repeatable crash whenever I'm taking the LO 710 trains out from Euston:

    (for example) 2D60, 2D98, Euston LO services - give an Unreal crash as I go over the AWS just before the bridge prior to South Hampstead Station:
    Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000
    TrainSimWorld
    kernel32
    ntdll

    Running the 710s inbound don't seem to give a problem, afaik.

    Curious about the mention of the 87 on Caledonian diagrams when it comes out - are you able to expand at all on what the plans are for that at this stage?

    Console user so sadly just admiring all this from afar - looks great though!

    Do you have the audio announcer mod? I suspect that is causing that crash as I’ve had it a couple of times but weirdly when I reload the game and do the same service it works no problem. I think that mod adds so much immersion to the game that I’ll take the odd crash to keep it installed!

    One of us will take a look at those services though to check but it’s 99.9% nothing to do with either the EP or the TT

    Ran into a problem with a red showing on signal WS 58. I am driving service 2C60 up from WJ to Euston. There was a train stopped ahead of me at Harrow and Wealdstone platform 2, the service 2C59. He has a green signal at WS54 but because it is "off path" is not going anywhere. Removing the train and path give a clear so it is most likely this train causing the problem. Isn't this enhanced map great.

    I’ve just tried 2D60 and didn’t have a crash. Can I suggest you run a file verify and if you use the announcer mod ensure you have the latest version. All crashes I’ve had with it have been on load in for what it’s worth.

    That’s a visually stunning service btw run today with clear skies

    Can I check you didn’t resume from a save, or mess about with the date or time of day GodMode before this happened?

    JetWash you may assume that this was a straight run from WJ to that red without any messing with the date or time.

    Love the timetable and effort put into this route from the modders but can i ask there seems to be no people around? All platforms dead empty no passengers have i missed something/done anything wrong?

    That’s the default route. Use my ini mod and it improves things for you.

    The only tiny little problem I've found so far is when I'm kicked from the lu services at queen's pk, the train instantly departs and I'm trapped on it and transported into the unknown.

    Thanks for having a look at this JetWash, the first thing I did was remove the announcer mod after the first time it crashed as I thought it the most likely suspect, but that hasnt stopped it happening. No, I didnt alter anything via GodMode, or resume from a save. I do run quite a few mods but this is the only issue I’ve come across with the EP/TT. It sounds like it must be another mod then, its definitely not random as it seems every time a 710 from Euston is run it will crash at that point, thanks again for checking that run

    (Must admit, rattling through the lit stations and trackside stuff in the 805 on a clear night is fantastic!)

    Ok. As luck would have it I’ve just seen the same thing heading northbound on a similar service. According to Fawx it shouldn’t be happening as it’s not theoretically possible for an AI train to end up off path like that. It doesn’t happen when the timetable simulates or the whole thing would lock up and it wouldn’t complete. It is happening though so we’ll have to try and figure out why

    i am curious about the class 377/7 that was made for the EP. Is there any pictures of it i can see?
    And not having to download mods/EPs for TSW before how exactly do i download this?

    Not fix, but vastly improve. I see a sensible number of passengers on the route without going overboard. Unfortunately too many becomes very CPU intensive which is the last thing you need at Euston.

    No problem id rather have this timetable and pack with lesser passengers than the old DTG stuff with more, thanks for the help/advice and thankyou for the mods!

    This mod is just ridiculously, insanely great. We;ve seen good work from you guys before, in lighting, foliage, set-dressing and so on, but this monster with the killer timetable, new trains (which DTG seems to think can't be done, all of it: just EFFIN' amazing. The WCMLS has been run up to the standard of Niddertal and Blackpool. Wow.

    (And so, when I do report a bug, please don't think I'm dumping on you. And, yes, I know that I casn't expect my old potato to run it well in the crowded tiles)

    Possibly dumb question - would it be prudent to take TSW5 off auto update for the moment? As there is a reasonably sizeable patch incoming (hopefully).

    That is not what the function is for - it will only stop updating until you launch the game.

    For example if you have CS2 but only play it occasionally, it makes no sense to have the almost daily updates delivered, there it makes sense to set the game to "Only update when launched". You cannot disable updates. (Well you can, by manipulating your appmanifest file though. Requires knowledge of the file structure and usage of SteamDB.info.)

    Just theoretically: you can copy the current version of a file(TS2Prototype-WindowsNoEditor-WCMLSouth.pak) and put this copy ufter game finish upfating. Also move the updated version, and when the EP will be updated - you will replace the old file with the new one(so not to download it twice).

    FWIW If you’re not a night owl you can set updates to install at say 1am and then basically they don’t install unless you give it the ok. I did it a while back and it works nicely. I guess logically if you are a night owl you could set them for 9am or something and the same thing would happen.

    If and when DTG launch a patch and there’s overlap we’ll sort it out, don’t worry. We have an update pretty much ready to go that fixes / improves a number of things in the EP. I believe we’re just waiting on one more thing as we’re aware it’s not a small download and not everyone had fast internet.

    solicitr Bug reports are always welcome, no issue there at all.

    I just finished the scenario "1027 Wolverton Centre... Part1) with HST NNR with great pleasure. I noticed Halloween was early because people fell from the sky about 14 miles from London.

    My point was the Steam function to "only update when launched" is avoiding useless downloads and delta patches wearing off your drive. If I play CounterStrike twice a year, I can skip all the daily patches and only get the current update when I intend to play it.

    This was in response to the previous post which assumed you could prevent Steam from updating a game, which you can, but you need some trickery. (That's why my TSC is out of Steam's reach under my full control, and in different versions :) )

    I would generally advise to keep TSW updated. You can backup a pak, but then it's often also the core paks and wrappers that get updated alongside too, and the result of using an older DLC pak on an updated core can be unpredictable. The worst thing is wasting time on strange bug reports that are an effect of this.

    And, I'm not sure why this would be necessary. WCMLS got its official patch and I'd say it'll stay like this, receiving only future layers but not anything that should affect your mod. My guess only, of course, I'm not following the PR roadmap babble. ;)

    Update the game, but stick with a good working graphics driver! :D
