...that we would all benefit from Estimated arrival time - maybe in small letters/digits somewhere on miniHUD... atm, your track monitor shows some distance ahead, depending on your travelling speed... how about sth that would show estimated time of arrival at next destination depending on your current speed/position? that way you could more accurately determine if to keep current speed or maybe slow down / speed up to better match the task's appointed time Slight modification of dispatcher - upon either clicking "contact signaller" or pressing TAB and selecting this (or equivalent thing) a couple options would appear besides requesting to proceed - like lets say request to be diverted on a different track (if available) to bypass a train blocking your way (lets say you are driving a REX and there is regional all stopping train in front of you, blocking your progress, so you could request being diverted onto a different track with lower speed to get around it, and then be returned to the original track) - as deleting a train isnt exactly realistic, lol Liveries in timetable mode - the ability to choose livery not only for lead loco, but also for other locos/carriages in your consist PZB data entry also in non-expert trains/locos - sure, some trains also have switches for safety stuff IRL, but some do use PZB/train data entry instead... definitely one of my fav features of BR 101 Expert, it would be some nice challenging fun if done on more locos aaand... feel free to add some smaller features you would welcome and which would enhance your immersion/overall gameplay cheers-aaah
More MU setup - not sure how to implement this, if the game would like open small windows, or you could do this via usually non-interactive screens, but the point would be that you could set MU things without leaving your locomotive or needing to teleport there... in case of German locos you could like turn on ZWS, ZMS, ZDS BR 120 and KWS, on US locos those diesel and other switches Paper "Buchfahrplan" - this has probably turned up in Ebula thread, but I had an idea of a twist... at the start of the service, you would spawn right by the loco, and pick up the Buchfahrplan (simulating you getting it on paper from someone at the station which happens sometimes), then board the loco and do usual shenanigans... you could place it in a designated spot on the cab's counter and browse on it with mouse from time to time more when I think of others
These two are ones I would very much like to see. I would also like times to be shown in guard mode so you have an idea of how long left to check tickets.
Yes, but really. When I see the liveries on the carriages that I can't use it makes me a little sad (It's almost impossible to understand the point of being able to create them) neither I nor the AI have the liveries in game
I have made a set of liveries for BR 110 + n-wagen + cab car, to make them look almost like matching CityShuttle ones by OBB (I even recreated old OBB logo), but unless you match em in Formation designer... *sigh*
More Drive-by labels - I really appreciate being able to pop into Live map and check what station I am going thru and such things... but it would be nice if such labels could pop up in real time as you are driving (could be adjustable - if only station names or also names of branches etc) Push-pull loco selection - if applicable, mostly for German/Austrian locos... if you select dosto cab car for driving, for some services you should be able to select loco to push you (sometimes it is annoying lets say on Hamburg Lubeck if you do this and you get 112 to push you, but you might want 146.2 so you might have to do a couple restarts etc)
