Wouldn't the district line be a good idea withe the s stock and as a addon the d stock or the other way around
Nowhere near enough information in this suggestion. Some people may not know where the LUL District Line runs from and to. I can state that termini include Richmond, Ealing Broadway, Wimbledon, Edgware Road, Kensington Olympia and Upminster. Furthermore, S Stock is the current type on all lines but prior to this it was a mix of C and D Stock dependent upon line. C stock used to operate the Wimbledon to Edgware Road Line with D stock on Richmond and Ealing Broadway services.
Yep and with the D stock they can use the 484 with an unbranded D78 stock livery D78 Stock Train Unbranded formation https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/creations/183960
Plenty of District Line suggestions in the recent-ish past on here, with much more detail. Suggest the OP searches for those and adds to one of them.
I have found my thread from ages ago when I suggested the Circle and District line with a lot more information https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...-on-the-london-underground.45972/#post-381000
The Class 484 is nothing like the original D78 and sure it’s fine for something small e.g. the GWE remaster but in an actual full route I highly doubt it would be added. It’s like if they reskinned the class 377 in GX Livery to be a 387 in London Commuter. I mean there is a different seating layout, motor sounds, pis display at the front. Especially in a loco suggestion for a train to supposedly run on the full route. So either make the proper D stock or make the S7
Any version of the District Line that were to be made would surely get the freshly built original D stock rather than a rehashed 484. This would surely then supercede the fake D stock on GWE and perhaps be layered in in its place. Not building an original D stock would have everyone up in arms and would clearly be a lazy approach to take. Remember however, the C and D Stock would not necessarily be the types chosen as the route is now entirely S Stock. It all depends on the year chosen for any such route project. The 484 is simply a place holder in GWE remastered as is the 72 stock which will also likely be updated if we ever get a 93 stock with appropriate route.
