I am trying to resurrect my 3D Crafter software having rediscovered the joys of route building in Trainsim (this may not last of course - I haven't tried to get any semaphore signalling to work yet and this always caused hair tearing out at the roots, flinging my PC out of the window and swearing NEVER to touch Trainsim again but, hey, I'm at that "honeymoon" period at the moment so please humour me!). I have logged into my 3D Crafter programme and seem to have reverted to the basic programme with no facility to export to the game. I also seem to be missing MakeACE software which, if I remember right, I downloaded once and need to convert PSP7 files to ace files for the textures. I am obviously in for a struggle with the learning curve so can anyone help my ascent by advising me where I can (1) get MakeAce software from and (2) upgrade my existing 3DC software to allow export into the game.
Have you tried blender?. I briefly tried 3d crafter but found it lacked a lot of the features of blender.
I have the older 3D Canvas version and it frequently drops the license name and number requiring it to be re input.
3d Crafter 10 Pro works pretty well on Windows 10, I use the Windows 7 installer rather than having it installed via the Microsoft Store. 3d Crafter 10 "Not the Pro version" is completely free
