I love the game. Mostly the steam loco's.

But i'm missing the German steam loco's.
Like the Br01.10, Br23, Br38, Br41, Br52, Br50 and more, will there ever be more than only Brittish steam in the game?

I'm starting to sound like a broken record here.. Steam is on indefininate hiatus for the forseeable future so no more steam locomotives until DTG get their behind in gear and sort out the current 'issues' with the 4 steam engines in TSW but that won't be for a long time. So no new steam until like TSW10 or something

To be honest, having the BR 52 missed forever in Train Sim World would be very sad. It's the german steam locomotive and after WW2 also used in many other european countries. They could be used on so many routes for historic railtours but maybe also a historic route on its own as they were for example used in East Germany during the Deutsche Reichsbahn times.

I really wish DTG would sticky the main no, no’s as regards what they are likely to make. I know it doesn’t hurt to keep poking the wasp’s nest, but along with US freight or routes in the Middle East or Russia it’s really a waste of effort for people to scribe out long presentations when they don’t stand a cat in hell’s chance of getting made.

That would require though that DTG actually admit steam is dead, which they appear hesitant to do. They always hedge around it saying they’re not actively developing it now (which is corpo speak, of course, but technically does not confirm steam’s demise). I guess there’s also the matter that the suggestion forum can also be consulted by (future) 3rd parties not necessarily subscribing to DTG’s views.

Maybe I’m biased though since I’ve frequently “poked the wasp’s nest” as you say myself when it comes to steam.
