Should Dtg Do More Current Trains? (e.g Trains Soon To Be Withdrawn?)

There's no way you can guarantee it'll end at Peterborough, as there's no evidence that the route has even been considered. It's the same for the people who were certain the WCML would go all the way to Birmingham.

And to be clear, few trains terminate at Reading, Milton Keynes Central, Eastbourne, Kassel, Wurzburg or Finnentrop. Clearly DTG and other developers are more than happy to cut off a route at nonsensical places. It would be no different for the ECML.

 

I just don't think they're that stupid to end it sooner.

Ending it at Peterborough both makes sense and benefits them.

Ending the route at Peterborough means they can sell it on the route hopping feature, which may increase sales for both routes. It would also be a decent length which would probably please a lot of people.

I'm more than happy to be proven wrong though.
