I've just started a scenario on a route I've been building, to find that all the switches are missing from all the junctions. Even the dispatcher has no control over these junctions anymore either. Anyone come across this before?
Someone mentioned problems with junctions in the latest TSC version (or latest beta?) if you made a clone of the route. Does the track appear to be broken in the editor? (red square over the track)
That was me but pretty sure it turned out to be user error on my part. Tried updating one of my old routes without the indie track rule in place which broke all the junctions and even stopped me laying junctions using a ticked track rule. Also that is in the current release version, not the beta.
All I know is that the route was fine a few months ago when I played. This is what I'm seeing in the 2d map. And no switches or motors on junctions. I did replace the track textures using rwtools some several months ago, but it was working fine. All I can think is that an update has done this? Cheers.
When you are playing a scenario (not a free roam) only Manual points have the blob to change the points. Look at the route in the Editor and see if the points are visible or not.
Most of the junctions are manual in the image. In the 3d map I can no longer see the switches either. I'm at work now. Will have to look on the editor when I'm home. Cheers.
Ok so I loaded up the route in editor... and the switches are there! thank god. So it's only the scenarios that are broken. Created a scenario and it works fine. Thanks guys.
