So i hate the new AI voiceover for the MBTA tutorials. Any chance we could get an option to change the voice?
people could make mods to change the available voicelines but that's not much of benefit, nor importance. just turn down the volume and read the subtitles during the tutorial :P
Well, that was my point lol. Since it's all gonna be AI now why can't they just give us a few voice options? Not like they'll have to pay a voiceover actor for it....
Bare-bones other than you have to turn on the generator field switch in the HSP-46. Haven't done the cabcar tutorial yet.
And no doubt another tedious circuit or two of the Training Centre which teaches you nothing about how to use the train on its home ground, or the route specific signalling systems!
DTG really should have asked people to voice the tutorials for them, even if they're not paid. I am an actor, and in the past my friend tried to mod my voice into the game to replace the awful voice used on Rivet's early tutorials. Alas we never figured out how to modify the files. If DTG were interested I'd voice their tutorials for free. The acting credits on my CV are more valuable to me.
You should never work for free! You are worth much more than that! Working for exposure, however, is worth more than any salary!
