Hi! Unofficial Dtg Ambassador From Italy Here

As per title, hi!
I’m the unofficial DTG Ambassador from Italy and I was wondering, the next two weeks will be pure fire for me.
I own a small YouTube channel called Trains & co, we just passed few days ago the 500 subs mark, yaaaay!
The channel is mainly focused around TSW content.
And I was wondering if there was a way for me to get an early access “privilege” buying the new upcoming two DLCs.
This will help me showcase the routes in two live streaming I’m creating for the small Italian community we are establishing.

I’m not asking to receive them for free, let me be clear on this point, I’m an unofficial Ambassador so it’s more than fair for me to pay for the products I enjoy.

I don’t think creating a public thread for all to see regarding this is the best way about achieving this. Send a DM to a DTG member on here or reach out another way. People on the beta team (me) don’t even get early access to release content. Just the beta versions. But when it’s finished, we wait for it to be released like everyone else. But coming on a creating a thread asking for stuff early because you’re an “unofficial ambassador” is kind of crazy. Having a YouTube channel and posting TSW content makes you a user just like the rest of us, not an ambassador.

Yep sounds like touting for free software to me. I suspect most of the Ambassadors were approached by DTG based on study of their websites or YT content, not the other way round.

for all the other comments, I apologize if this seemed self promoting. But I can ensure you that having an Italian channel I’m not really looking for an non Italian speaking audience, so it would make no sense to try promoting my channel here to be honest. For this reason I also refrained to add any link but just mentioned the names of the channel for DTG members to have an idea of who I am and what I do.
About receiving anything for free, I thought I have been clear enough that I wanted to pay for the DLCs, in my life I always paid for everything I use and TSW is no exception.
I’m sorry if you got this idea of me but I also think is not my job to change your ideas and everyone is free to think and speak the way they want.

 

do you only consider channels which feature commented gameplay or also pure gameplay streams? like, are there any clear criteria somewhere on this forum, so I can check them? like, it could be sth cool, but I dont know if lets say I would meet criteria

 

I guess the question is for Jan, I’ll say it’s worth sending them an email.
I don’t know how much time will take the team to reply or if in case they are not interested they will simply not reply at all.

I sent them an email the day Jan replied so kindly to my post, but I must admit my request was quite unusual since, as per post, my request is not exactly to become an Ambassador.
Up until now I have received no reply to my email.
But as said, sending them an email will not hurt anybody and worst case scenario they will simply not reply.
But if the latest scenario is proven to be true, don’t think it’s something against you. I work for a very big company in the social media department and we also deal with a lot of wanna be influencer and other strange and magnificent individuals, and when we are not interested in what they have to say or ask we ignore them as per internal policy. And it’s, again, not something against them is just to filter the requests.

 

I stream mainly so friends can watch if they want ... and it is a good reference tool if I encounter a bug, so I can timestamp the part where it happens ... so I was mostly curious ... cos I would love to promote and show some more love to this game
