    DTG-Chris

If I buy the TSW3 version of the route, I get access to TSW3 version, TSW4 version, TSW5 version.

If I buy TSW5 version of the route, do I get access to versions for previous editions too please?

    Thank you

    Looks to be:

If I pre-order a TSW 5 bundle or add-on, will I get access to compatible content in TSW 4?
Where applicable certain add-ons will be backwards compatible with TSW 4 and older titles in the series. However, these entitlements won't be available untill the official Train Sim World 5 launch. For compatibility, please check the Train Sim World Add-On Compatibility Guide.

    thank you very much :)

Why you should do that? DLC updates for TSW5 are definitely not Backwards compatible so its useless to do?!

?? Do you mean why would I want the DLCs on previous versions? It’s for when TSW5 is unstable, so I can play on the more stable TSW4.

I wanted to buy the TSW5 version so when I hit download to console in the app, it gives me the TSW5 version rather than having to go through the rigmarole of downloading TSW3, 4 and 5 versions and then deleting 3 and 4.

There was a period, not too long ago, where they broke the 801 again and doors didn't work properly etc. Now fixed, but I simply reverted to TSW4. I don't store all the old version DLC locally, just download as required.

For anyone wondering what the outcome was - having purchased the TSW5 version of Scotrail express, I can confirm my account now shows I also own the TSW3 and TSW4 versions :)
