PC Uprading From Tsw 2

Hello,

It's been a while since I played TSW and I'm planning to get back into it. In the Steam shop, I only see purchases, but no updates. Is this normal?

If I've understood correctly, it's now possible to make free journeys, without a scenario. In this play mode, are you alone or does traffic circulate around you?

 

You can spawn your trains into the ongoing service mode with ai trains around.

 

a) By spawning into the timetable and spawning a train: all traffic exists
b) By selecting a route and click Free Roam: No traffic

Note that for both cases you will need to assign a path to your train by clicking it on the 2d map.

 

I guess you're trying to update to TSW5. Just claim "Train Sim World® 5: Free Starter Pack" in TSW5 store page.

 

Support for TSW2 ended in 2022. If you get TSW5 (either by purchasing a core route or by getting the free starter pack) your TSW2 collection will come with you, along with any updates that came/will come to them.
