Wcml "start From Dead State"?

Hello,

on the Steam Shop page ist says that we can start from a Dead State ("Cold and Dark")

Is this only with the diesel class in one mission? Or can you do this with every loco form the Route?

 

I think it's with all of them.

 

I tried it. There is only the sencenrio from the Depot with class 47. time table the loco is allready running

 

In tt mode, it will load in a started state because the ai doesn't know how to cold start. You would have to manually turn it off and on yourself. Or if you really are up to it, try to find the service in a depot or siding, go on foot a few minutes early so you can simulate the cold start process before starting the service.

Ok then i will refound it. That is the same with outer routes.

 

Its a feature that will only ever be present in scenarios due to AI not being able to handle it.

A bit over the top refunding it for acting like it's supposed to.

 

Then they should not write "aviabilty to start from a dead state" when it is only in one scenario. You can not even make a scenario with a cold and dark loco

 

But it is possible to do it in timetable mode, but they won't automatically start that way. You need to do it yourself.

 

I know but i can do this in every Addon.
They advertise it specifically so it's a kind of scam

 

Not a scam, just the way the game works. It's always been this way.

Now if they said you could do it, but couldn't, then that'd be a scam.

 

That said though, it could maybe be implemented if you choose the service to drive (obviously one that's been in a siding or out of service for a while) rather than spawning on foot.

 

They worte that and now the removed it. In many missions you stard cold and dark on other routes.
