General Info 6 Stations Total Runs from Liskeard to Looe GWR Class 150 is used 8-9 Miles Long Rolling Stock Class 150 is used on this route IRL so this would make perfect sense. Maybe could include some old trains previously used on this route such as the Class 143. GWR Class 150 (not on the right line but same train) Route The Looe Valley Line runs from Liskeard to Looe, calling at Coombe Junction Halt, St Keyne Wishing Well Halt, Causeland, Sandplace and Looe. It's very scenic running alongside the East Looe River. Request stops are also used on this route, which could be implemented, for example, the driver could recieve a beep on the signal bell, from the (imaginary) guard, telling the driver to stop. This could be set to randomise each stop. If this can't be implemented, then you could stop at every stop. Guard Mode? Guard Mode could potentially be added on this route, which would make for a very interesting experience. The stops are very frequent, so it won't get boring, and passengers could ask to stop and the guard could press the buzzer to tell the driver to stop.
Nice little branchline with some interesting game mechanics could be nice with a reworked class 150, although would have to be brandless unless you chose a different era.
Good call but would be even better as part of an extended and upgraded Cornish route. Or, failing that, an East Cornwall local from Plymouth down to Liskeard but also including the Gunnislake branch. For added realism the driver (in reality Guard) would have to alight at Combe Junction and use the single line staff to access ground frame for the section to and from Looe.
Despite it being short, it'd be a good test bed for request stops. Although let's have it when 143s ran the line.
No, FirstGroup no longer allow TSW to use the GWR brand for reasons unknown to me. This is why all trains for the GWR remaster are unbranded.
Pretty sure the already existing units are going to stay branded, however the new liveries are all unbranded.
The Penzance route would have been better if it included the route to Plymouth including Looe Guinnesslake and Newquay branches. And if they did do this put that regional railways 150 in the recycle bin and replace it with the TFW model but with the same livery.
Personally I dont find that an issue for any main or branch lines they wish to create to be unbranded..as long as its the same rolling stock used and colour scheme of the operators on said line then I dont think people will have an issue either way...Its called Modders and creators club to rectify those concerns!
