Hey, I just dowloaded the Game Pass version on my Xbox One S (which has not so bad specs), and wanted to play the Frankfurt-Fulda line (Kinzigtalbahn), but the graphics were absolutely terrible, and the gameplay was absolutely not smooth. I mean, even Xbox 360 experience looks far better than this. Are there any issues with this game on the Xbox version?
The xbox one is an old console now and expecting it to run a modern, busy game smoothly is unrealistic.
The game is increasingly becoming unable to cope with older generation consoles (which are actually at the end of their life, lingering on life support). If you're using one, expect the performance to be poor.
Didn't help that in the rush by both major platform holders not to be beaten to market by a year like in Gen7, both consoles ended up releasing right before a generational improvement in hardware took place which rendered them significantly behind even low-end PC hardware just a few years into that generation, whereas the XBox 360 had launched with more advanced capabilities than most commercially available PC hardware of the day.
