Very occasionally one 710/3 is allocated to the North London Line, but as you said it's 99% of the time only 378/2s.

 

We seem to be getting a lot of routes with meaningless endings. Rivets WCL, Berninalinie and Fife Circle all spring to mind.

Looking at the route map of the London Overground it does look like we will get some other offerings in the future, so not really bothered about the length of it. It will have 18 stations and is being produced by one person who by the look of the images is doing a much better job than some third party developers who employ quite a few on their development teams,

 

Great way to start the month! It's a shame it's not quite the full route, but the screenshots look great. I'll definitely be playing it.

I'm personally of the opinion that some of the end points are for current or future/planned route hopping opportunities.

In all the times I've driven freight along this route IRL, never seen a 710/3 assigned a Class 1/2 passenger head code. Plenty of ECS to Liverpool Street or Barking Riverside, will have to keep my eyes extra peeled now.

 

I've spotted a few at my local station, it's pot luck whether you'll see one or not.

No, its Stratford to Willesden, so hopefully Willesden - Richmond & Clapham Junction will come soon afterwards - maybe their next project.

 

Fife Circle is a Full Route in this game exactly like the real life Fife Circle actually. Not meaningless at all.

Anyway this upcoming route looks great to me. Especially the Loco. People have whined for more London routes for long enough so there you go. Never good enough for some people here.

 

As a frequent user of the mildmay line I have on the very rare occasion seen a 710 on this route, mostly on weekends when there's closures.

My wish for the 20th is that the GWE Remaster is released before Christmas. That would be a mice present!

 

I’d actually like that. I used to travel on that line every day for 2 years, though not on the people mover. Would be worth it just to see what scenarios they could come up with!

The great thing would be that it would probably be possible to complete the Scenarios, Journey mode and Mastery within Steam’s refund window.

 

I wonder what they would charge for it.

Some people will be happy though. US stuff isn't my bag either but I know there's likely to be a couple of things I want over the course of these reveals.

 

I guess that will add a bit more to the us, giving the us players a real treat

 

A brand new loco that brings additional services over multiple routes. Pretty solid announcement.

 

I think its isn't the most important announcement considering its US and its a loco.

 

Just watched a video on this train, and to be perfectly honest it is quite a nice surprise

 

An Amtrak long distance loco and consist of Superliners would have been more interesting. Still, for those who enjoy the Metrolink routes guess this will add some value.

So hazarding a guess tomorrow's reveal will be something German/European.

The F59PHR model looks nice and i'll take another US diesel loco for sure but i can't be the only one who wishes it was an Amtrak Genesis or Charger, right?

I know people will say, "but there's only a couple of Amtrak services on route x", but their absence grows more conspicuous with every US release.

Well a release plan for the 420 or Ludmilla would be nice, though my money on a date for Mittenwaldbahn.
