    Hello,
In the manual, I read: You can identify a supported service by the ticket icon next to the service details. However, I went through all the services on all my trains and never saw this icon. Am I missing something?

You can find the Conductor icons in Timetable mode. It also depends on which routes you have, because the conductor mode is only available for some routes and trains. Here is an example image of Boston - Worcester where the icons can be found and what they look like:

I only have two American lines: Peninsula Corridor and Sand Patch Grade. The other lines are East Coastway, Hautstrekte Rhein-Ruhr, London Underground and Schnellfahrstreke Köln. None of them has a Conductor Mode. However, I updated TSW 5 earlier this week. I assume that the Boston–Worcester line is in an add-on I haven't bought.

Yes only some of the routes we have conductor mode on currently, looking at the routes you have these don't have conductor mode.

So, if I understand correctly, the basic version of TSW 5 does not allow you to play in Conductor Mode. It's only available on a few paylines...

It depends on what you mean by “basic TSW 5”.
If you mean the free starter pack then no, because there are no routes included. But if you mean the TSW 5 standard edition then yes, because this edition contains 3 basic routes that also offer Conductor Mode.

I've the standard edition containing Peninsula Corridor, Sand Patch Grade, East Coastway, Hautstrekte Rhein-Ruhr, London Underground and Schnellfahrstreke Köln. But I didn't find any Conductor Mode is those lines.

These routes are all old and not part of the TSW 5 standard edition, you might have misunderstood something.

The TSW 5 Standard Edition includes the following route:

San Bernardino Line: Los Angeles - San Bernardino
West Coast Main Line: London Euston - Milton Keynes
    Frankfurt - Fulda: Kinzigtalbahn

Since you have not listed any of these three routes, I assume that you have just upgraded an older TSW version with the free TSW 5 starter pack. As mentioned above, conductor mode is only available on a few routes, and since none of your listed routes offer conductor mode, you can't find it either.

Yes, you're right, I've had an update from TSW 2.
