Everyone want's a eurostar route in TSW 5, right? I sure do and if any eurostar route would be considered it has to have the channel tunnel in it. Lillie is a beautifful staring point for the route and enging it at Ashford is a briliand Idea because then you can route hop to the south eastern high speed and there continue all the way Ebsfleet. So the rail scenery is not boring two of the eurostars should be added, the Eurostar e320 and the new Class 373 and even if it ends up in good hands we can even have the old Class 373, this is my dream route and even today as i am writng this i had a dream where JD annouced the Eurostar route but it was just a dream and very sadly not the reality and I even woud't bother if the price was higher than usual.
Thanks if you read the whole thing.

Are you trolling? It's 35 minutes in a tunnel, doesn't get more boring than that.

Now if you'd suggested Paris to Lille, as mentioned above and others have suggested before (and with more detail), that's a different matter.

There’s also licensing issues with Eurostar and probably security concerns to take into consideration with an international cross border operation through a long and boring tunnel.

Also as previously mentioned, SNCF are no longer cooperating with DTG.

But nobody knows the reason, I don't think I remember that DTG talked about that.
I don't even think DTG officially said that SNCF is stopping working with them (even though it is very likely that this is the case)

I have been doing a few searches on the forum to identify the original source but without success, though there are plenty of references to the sitaution.

Why not sub contract all French content to SimExpress instead? Long winded I know but SimExpress and SNCF are close partners I believe with all the new French content they have done for TSC.

idk the real reason neither. but SNCF isn't the only one concerned. i believe Alstom (locos maker) has its word to say too. whatever the reason we need more french stuff for sure. would be good for both DTG, the clients, and the SNCF as well. France has a pretty good network, and deserve few more routes

The LGV Nord: Paris - Lille is already being done using the PC editor by a 3rd party, although it may be a long while before it's actually playable.
    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/lgv-nord-paris-lille.87423/
    - 251km long between Paris Gare du Nord and Lille
    - Uses the TGV Duplex 200 only (from LGV Méditerranée)
    - No Eurostar, Thalys or regional services (no new rolling stock)
