Hello, the french is completely abandonned . I understand that DTG being a UK company they want to provilege UK stuff. And i have absolutely nothing against that. plus the UK being the craddle of railroads. but we need at least a good french route. i think a route that combines rural areas with a big, or middle sized city would be nice. for the trains a nez casse would be fantastic. as it is an iconic piece of french railroads. this would imply a legacy route of course, as these locs aren't in service anymore coupled to a small regional similar to the DB BR 642 EAD it would be awesome. for example a B 81500 my suggestion, a route in the perigord noir may be interesting. Sarlat - Perigueux, Sarlat - Bergerac, Sarlat - Brive. very scenic region, lot of castles, lot of bridges, lot of rivers, lot of trees https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nez_Cassé https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SNCF_Class_B_81500 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Périgord_noir
I completly aggre with you, we really need to good french route and DTG could even add the second TGV, the TGV Reseau
SNCF have joined the list of railway systems that are no longer cooperating with DTG as regards licensing or access for research etc.
i googled it a bit. and apparently the problem would come more from the SNCF than from DTG. it's a bit of a shame. i don't know the problem in details. but even if the train was born in the UK, one can't deny France is a major actor in rail industry. so only one dlc, how could i say it makes a bit misery if the problem comes from the SNCF, i talk in the conditional, it would be nice that they wake up a bit, and realize traim sims is a rising genre than can't be avoided anymore. and allow the licensing for at least 2 or 3 locos. the french network is good, pretty well maintained. and as a french i would be happy to drive a little nez casse, or a TER. and France has lot of scenic areas (1st on tourism) if you take car sims, for example forza 5, you have all brands, and all models one can imagine, and the only requirement of the brands is that you can't crash heavily the vehicles. in forza whatever your crash you'll only have broken glass, and slight scratches so again if it comes from the SNCF, and i don't know if they're at the problem origin, i don't see what could stop them from sending their green light. I remember in Eurotruck once, Mercedes was the only brand that during some time didn't give their green light for licensing. and with time i slowly started to see that brand as a 'bad' brand. who was too ticked-off, too proud of their brand (Mercedes finally decided not to behave as a side horse, and gave its approval)
So is any other country that isn't the UK, US or Germany (minus the one French, one Austrian and two Swiss routes).
