On PC, there is still only 4 car 350 services, PIS hasn't changed whatsoever, no additional services. Disappointing. And I've already downloaded the update so it isn't that

Are there expected to be any timetable updates for the Series S? If not then I think this should have been communicated earlier on.

 

They do always say it could take 24 hours to go live with the updates in nearly every update thread dovetail post, but I'm guessing a good chunk of people don't read the posts all the way to the very end lol.........

 

No update on xbox either other routes got updates but not wcml

 

We've had updates come through. But some are apparently missing, I'm guessing you didn't read the post by DTG Harry explaining the situation.

I got the missing update for WCML on PS5, I’m loading the game.

 

I have. I downloaded the latest update that came up on Microsoft store today

I saw it, but still wouldn't be worried about it if I hadn't seen it, tho if it had been tomorrow evening and nothing had shown up I would have been questioning it and slowly sharpening my pointed stick......

 

After the update, it knocks me out of the game altogether - when trying to load WCML (PC, Steam ver.)

 

Have you got the WCML EP installed? If so you need to delete all the PAK files associated with it.

 

Got an update for WCML but I don’t think any has changed? Is 638 services correct?

Same i got the update but its still missing all the services and features mentioned in the update notes.

 

I don’t think this will be the final update for the year, as we’ve been told there would be ECS moves around Bletchley and ai services on the Bedford - Bletchley route. That would suggest something that is yet to be revealed..

Also people need to remember there alot of ai services that make up the total number of services

 

this would be a great feature to add to the UI on the main menu so we can see the true total number of services for a route. (each being tagged with either 'playable service' or 'AI service')

 

I presume there will be an update to the EP in due course?

 

Well they stated 'added 800' so this is in addition to what was on the route yesterday/from launch.
That's an average of 33 extra services every hour, so I'd expect it to feel very different.

Not even had a chance to look yet, will probably be the weekend, so look forward to seeing the feedback.

 

What does it mean in layers, freight HKA, HOA, TEA? Which add-ons are needed?

 

I've downloaded the update but don't think the update has worked cause I only saw 4 car 710s

 

Mark, If your total playable services says 630 then it hasnt downloaded. The update file was 41 meg in size. It shoukld be between 100 meg to a gig.
I have deleted WCML from TSW5 in the hope that when I redownload it again it will be the updated version. Will keep abreast. (9minutes left to download 7.543 gig.

It's been mentioned a few times above. The response was that the update will come to consoles in the next 24 hours which I feel may have been a misunderstanding as we already have had the update it's just missing the content like the services, the 5 car 710 and the 87 railtour featured in the screenshots for some reason.the one thing we did revive in the update was a patch for guard mode which has actually created more bugs where u spawn at the trains terminus station where the train isn't there yet.

Having checked the patch notes, am I right in thinking the 390 conductor mode from main menu will come in a later patch? perhaps alongside the Bletchley ECS? Thanks

 

The preview that trainsimulatordriver did seemed to indicate the total playable services with all layers is now 794 (but this will probably go over 800 once the gameplay pack is released). The previous total was 690. The additional 104 playable service breakdown iss:

- 152 extra Bakerloo services
- 19 extra Overground services (not sure how many of these are the Jan/Feb test runs). It also wasn't clear if this was just adding in the 710/3 or if that variant is just substitutable for any of them. I think probably the latter.

EDIT - Weirdly the extra numbers doesn't correspond with the total as that's 171 extra despite the total being 794. So I'm a bit confused.

I'll have to see what comes on my PS5 when it's all downloaded properly. It seems like the Bakerloo number is much closer to real life, but the Overground is still a bit on the low side for what you would have for the full Lioness line. 8 trains per hour (4 going north and 4 going south) over around 17 hours would be 136. That's not including the ECS and depot moves.

As far as I'm aware the EP and timetable only really worked well on higher end PCs. Given Fawx worked on both timetables this may just be the best that can be delivered right now for the widest range of players including consoles until more performance enhancements come in the new year.

The update for wcml is out now, I'm on series X

 

PS5, installed a load of update files for the game but the WCML timetable is still the old one at 638 services.

 

I downloaded an update for WCML earlier but it hasn't worked there's no 5 car 710s and still 630 services I'm on series x also

 

I'm just downloading the update through Steam, it is 989.6 MB.

Edit: that's likely bundled for all DLCs affected by today's update though.

 

So i done the update for xbox series x it's showing 793 jobs looks like its taken 8 freight jobs away and add only class 710 5 carriage jobs and there is still 4 carriage class 710 jobs and class 350 is still 4 carriage and 8 carriage job can't find any 12s i picked 8 random jobs all but 2 where 4 carriages.

 

There was a small update for WCML south on my ps5 but I too have the old timetable , seems it’s just a console based issue

 

Yep there's 710s with both 3 and 2 variants.

 

I've downloaded the update, but there's no 350 services, no 1972 stock services and only 4 class 66 services. The Class 390 and 710 services look fine. I'm on Xbox series X.
Why can't things be released smoothly??

 

The updates have come through fully now and the timetable has gone up to 800. I just have a question on PIS screen at Milton Keynes. Before you walk down the concourse, there is PIS screens which greet you, which aren't presented in the game. Is this something that could be considered for future updates?

 

Yep 350s are still 4 cars and the AI 390s still can't reach 125 mph. I thought this was something highlighted in the update information about a month ago telling us what would be coming. Could someone please clarify if this will be included as a future update?

 

I did a service at night, the track textures leading into Platforms 9 & 10 from the station throat look wrong. The rest of the track either side looks fine, just those tracks leading to 9 & 10.

 

Post update on Xbox Series X and I have 793 services. Had the choice of 710/2 and 710/3 but the 350 still seems to be 4 car only - no option of different variants and chose a service at random and it spawned in as 4 car.
