Now you can route hop to the Bakerloo line from WCML south i have had a reinvigorated intrest in the tube line.
Was thinking it would be so good if they brought the line up to TOD4 standards and I'm thinking it possible wouldn't be the hardest route(relatively speaking) to do this too....Thoughts?

Well Liam has stated he will not be doing any more remasters, so there is no one at DTG to do this.

Not really much you could do with it anyway, the tunnel sections are pretty good anyway if not 100% accurate. It got an updated and busier timetable some while ago. Plus the 1938 stock and the special livery 1972 train.

I'd rather the time and effort went into NTP, TVL or even ECW.

It would be better if they just added the underground section to the WCML south, in my opinion.

Agree 100%. And there are other more deserving routes, such as SPG, BML and Penn Corridor.

Definitely not 100% accurate, a lot they've left out like the floodgates under the Thames, electrical sub-stations, and just general lineside infrastructure like the emergency tunnel lighting and tripcock testers. Not to mention the state of Piccadilly Circus... didn't bother to include the murals at Charing Cross or the Piano Tiles at Waterloo either.

DTG has said multiple times over the years that the routes in game are 99% accurate representations of said routes not accurate repplactions of said routes, so you are never going to get a 100% accurate route in the game......

Remember that an update is still due to come out to the Bakerloo Line? This includes the route-hop points. Perhaps this will be revealed this week...

Well, I guess that means that we'll be back to old routes being left to rot in a metaphorical cupboard, without reaching their full potential.
Liam's work has been a credit to the game as a whole.

Although not the original Bakerloo route, I understood that the Queens Park to Harrow & Wealdstone section of the WCML, though more or less a cut and paste, had been upgraded to TOD4 lighting. Happy to be corrected though if I’m wrong.

It’s probably the hardest route to convert to TOD4 due to the underground section. I can’t see a TOD4 upgrade happening. The light baking for the underground section was a very time consuming and arduous task for DTG and I doubt they would want to do that again with different light values, and I don’t think it’s possible to have a route split between two TOD versions so just doing the outside bit in TOD4 isn’t an option. They could just redo the AI to include the new available stock but I don’t think they will. I can see it just remaining as it is.

One of the main problems with the Bakerloo Line along with the lack of AI is the underground section. There is clipping into the platforms at most stations and the height of the train at the platform is always level, when in reality the train should be higher than the platform. Its one of the main reasons I don't play this route and instead when I want to experience a TfL service in TSW I opt to drive the London Overground.

Couldn't they at least update the traction motors? As I heard the current sounds are from class 455s.
