The double-stack freight cars don't fit under the bridges on Antelope valley, as some clown made them too low... so they need raising for a start.
I’m really hoping they surprise us with Koln-Aachen, since it’s getting a new timetable. Always loved that route
MBTA Commuter is a brand new route. In TSW3, Boston Sprinter was remastered to coincide with the release of the Acela and Trenton. I think Sherman Hill was also updated, but I could be wrong. Dresden was updated as TSW4 came out (so a year ago) because that's the Railpool Vectron's home. There hasn't been any other remaster for Germany. While the UK remasters have mostly been passion projects (that we are very grateful for), the fact remains that we have had far more than the other countries. I suspect that the Boston-Providence and Dresden-Riesa remasters weren't passion projects, and I'm not sure Cathcart was a passion project either. I'm probably wrong, but I'm fairly sure of it. West Somerset and GWE definitely are passion projects though.
UK remasters improvements so far: Cathcart. SEHS got TOD and route extension to Ashford with TSW3. Spirit of Steam got TOD with TSW3.
Aaah, memories....NTP was my first train sim route ever. It was in fact my first ever train sim game back when TSW2020 released. I remember struggling learning to drive these train effectively due to breaking system with pretty decent delay and effect. But, I stuck to it and eventually mastered itand ended up playing till I got gold on all timetables. I can still hear the sounds from the Class 45/47 diesel engines rumbling... I'll definitely be revising NTP in TSW5 once I'm finished with TSW2.
I don't know how many dwarfs fit inside the container. But in real it means container with lesser hight. The idea came from Indian and Chinese railways. The reason is, that they want to use double deck containers at their electrified routes too. And the Ohle is not so high for double stack standard containers.
Cat was looking for fish, and the others were negotiating with the NORWEB federation... or something?
Routes I would love to see remastered are... NTP...but not sure if everyone would want it done, its a pretty big route that requires a lot of work done to it to bring it up to date Tees Valley... would be great to see an update, probably easier to do compared to NTP, but again not everyone would want it done? East Coastway...a great route that seems to suffer from dodgy lighting, but I guess there isn't as much work to be done with this one compared to Tees Valley and NTP. Brighton station floor seems different to the London Commuter Brighton, not sure why? Again, is there much call for this one to be done? Bakerloo...only because of WCML to bring it up to speed with this line as it is connected, but not sure everyone would want this one done, undergrounds are a different beast? GWE (in progress) The OG route, spent hours playing this one and still do. West Somerset (Done)
