I find it nice to drive, but personally would wait till it is in a sale. No real opportunities to stretch its legs

Yeah it doesn't. It does operate KGX to PBO IRL, but that's not the section we have. On ECML, you are looking at 3-4 minute at a time drivable runs.

 

I got it with a UK expansion bundle for TSW 4. It is nice to drive but the only real use I've made of it is in community created scenarios of it running on BML from East Croydon. It's also nice extra AI to have at Peterborough to add to realism there. I've heard some of the Dartford branch runs and secarios on SEHS are quite good so maybe at some point I will get round to them.

If DTG ever does Kings Cross to Peterborough then it will really come into its own there.

 

On SEHS it goes from Dartford to Faversham is supposed to go into st pancreas I thought it did irl

I doubt the ECML layer is worth mentioning as they’re only a few minute depot to station runs.
The Class 700 really needs some more love as SEHS is it’s only route.

 

It has AI on the GOBLIN's ECML Overpass too, I think.

 

Thaneslink don't go on the same platforms as Southeastern.

 

Worth getting for SEHS and ECML.

Adds more traffic on ECML at Peterborough plus depot moves.

On SEHS runs half hourly between Dartford and Rainham, makes the line busier, plus on the ECML section on SEHS (which you can barely see though) it adds AI.

 

I agree it needs more love, but disagree the ECML isn't worth mentioning. Personally I find it adds a nice bit of variety of AI at PBO, and certainly when on sale it's worth it.

 

Fair point. I don’t really play much attention to the AI on that route and honestly can’t even remember seeing a 700 leaving or entering PBO.
It’s one of my least favourite routes on the game so that’s probably why.

 

Plus it goes a completely different route.

 

It ends at Rainham, not Faversham

 

Sound is poor with a distinctive loop. Also levels incorrect, very quiet in cab but passing trains will blow out your speakers as they go by.

 

From what people are saying it needsa bit of tlc and you driving that far in it.
