Now I am aware Dovetail do not choose which things go on sale and when, but in my opinion it is just getting ridiculous, now take a look: Steam- Multiple things on sale somewhat frequently, Epic Games- Multiple things on sale somewhat frequently, Playstation-Multiple things on sale somewhat frequently. As you can see all other platforms have somewhat frequent sales almost every month, unlike Xbox which gets like 4-5 sale item every 2-3 months and it usually consists of mediocre routes that are either boring and I already own. Plus at the moment all 3 of those platforms have currently got a FREE route available (Sherman Hill), but mot Xbox! Now I know I am going to get bombarded with “oh well it’s not my problem you have an Xbox” and “just get a different console” and I don’t care what you think but I am just putting it out there that us Xbox players are getting left behind because of the fact we are not getting anything! It’s like dovetail just don’t care about us!
You are not the only one who feels like that Xbox owner here we absolutely LOVE sales all old boring routes and almost never get a sale.
At least we get the draw distance of a Nintendo Switch version on Series X, can rely on seeing the wonderful Xbox Dashboard each time we try to do a run on Frankfurt-Fulda and have mobile phone vibes as soon as the textures get blurry again

I think you hit the nail on the head with your first sentence. Microsoft have complete control over Xbox sales. Also, it is my understanding from the original DTG post that Sherman Hill is coming free to Xbox some time in January. Not sure why but there you go.
Also remember xbox has game pass which gives you a 10% discount so that might be a factor in sales. When a previous tsw was off game pass for a little bit, there were more sales compared to when it was in game pass
10% is nothing compared to steam and playstation who are getting anything from 50% to 80% and not everyone has game pass plus you still have to pay for gamepass so you paying for that 10% discount wow.
Well i am just putting it out there that Xbox don’t get any sales, just trying to gather an audience of some kind because if we all kept silent, we won’t get anywhere at all…
I did wonder for a few milliseconds whether us XBOX users might be thrown a few crumbs in the current add-on sale, given that it's focused on DLC, but no such luck! It's always been completely incomprehensible to me that DTG apparently can't put their DLC on sale when they feel like it, but that's what we're told.
Maybe it would be more useful posting on an XBox/Microsoft forum about it, since they control the sales?
This is reminiscent of the last "there's no sales on Xbox" post, just before there was a sale on Xbox. Picked up BPO and MTB myself (side note: MTB hardly worth it, even at deep discount, and even if you only want it to drive the 218). Sales on Xbox are not good in general. It's always the same stuff, over and over again. I have games on my watch list that have never gone on sale, in years. So, it's hard to blame DTG, from my perspective. Since there are frequent sales on other platforms, it doesn't seem credible that DTG is hating on Xbox. It seems much more likely that they have as many sales on Xbox as permitted, which is also what DTG has reported. I also doubt that posting on this forum about the lack of sales will make any difference. But, I said much the same on the last thread dealing with this issue, to apparently little effect. Que sera sera.
The most annoying thing is about Xbox is that there is currently a HUGE sale on now oh loads and loads of games and DLC but nothing regarding TSW…
I agree it really is frustrating, I’m a student & hardly have the funds to feed myself let alone buy a DLC. I really was hoping they’d come through for the new year sale for me to pick up some DLCS.
Hi folks - all I can really mention here is that I acknowledge the pains you all share, we very often don't have much ability to influence more sales for certain platforms, or legally announce when they're on the way (when there could be something just around the corner). Thank you for sticking patient, we're always trying to get more opportunities to give equal offerings to all players
Blame evil Microsoft apparently. I mean they get a cut of any sale don't they, but apparently they don't want to sell TSW DLC, but they do with everything else. It's the most bullshit story I've ever heard. The fact remains they have a deal with Game Pass that's why they don't sell off the DLC in regular sales.
TSW is a niche game for a niche market. That should indicate how lucrative it is for Microsoft to give it sales. Why give a niche game sales, when AAA games that are played by the majority will see more traffic, and more revenue.
Sale in 7 days, if you go and look at the DLC, you'll see some with the 10% gamepass discount ending in 7 days.
