I think that the Czech Republic as such is the heart of European railways, you have Germany, Austria, Great Britain, so why don't we also go a little to the hearth of Europe, realistically at least even if a line from Germany to the Czech Republic or a small line through the Czech would be really great and I would I'm not going to lie about it.
maybe Wien Franz Josefs Bahnhof via Gmund to České Velenice? it would have some S-Bahn lines to Tulln and some other stuff, REX 41 goes to either Gmund or Ceske Velenice... they would have an easier job since they wouldnt have to work on Czech signalling and such, since I assume that as a border station it has the necessary tracks eligible for entry of all trains from Austria... they would have to do 1144 for this route tho as it is used on both REX and S-Bahn services... also the Wiesel coaches and cab car
There are certainly some fantastic scenic routes in the Czech Republic (and Slovakia) and who wouldn’t want to drive an unsilenced “Grumpy” (749) or one of the diminutive Class 801 railcars. Just seems outside DTG in house comfort zone and obviously we don’t know how the Czech railway operators would view depiction of their operations in a game or grant access for research. However with German routes reaching saturation point, the SNCF and SBB slamming the door on France and a large part of Switzerland, it’s time DTG started looking further afield in Europe.
