What About A Timetable Editor?

Hi!

I was looking in tsw editor, but it was only for tsw4 and it was pretty hard.
Can ther ebe a timetable EDITOR in creators club? I wanna let my nighjet drive in some german routes

Well people have created 3rd party timetables in the PC Editor but from what I've seen of the workflow it's not easy. Certainly not as in other sims, or something spreadsheet based.

 

This would be amazing and I hope that this would become accessible to all console and PC players

 

Don’t hold your breath. The PC Editor was primarily a “hook” to sell TSW4 and a kind of subliminal recruitment tool for second and third party partners.

 

A timetable editor wouldn't be possible for consoles. Unreal engine editor not being for consoles is one thing. Then there's the user experience which would be not good at all. First it would not be user friendly at all. Imagine having to use your controller for every single individual element and doing fine movements and repeat that over and over again. Having to zoom in and out, having to find each individual instruction when things to wrong, etc. The other big problem is actually testing it. Even with the most powerful pc, it takes hours to simulate a timetable and it's taxing on the system. I don't think consoles would have the capacity or tech. They aren't a pc after all
