I would like to see the fall Chatcham mainline London Victoria to Faversham, Dover & Ramsgate also add the east kent coast dover to Ramsgate via Deal and extend it down to ashford with the Canterbury West line then we can use the full length of driving the class 395 down hs1 through to dover up to Ramsgate then to Faversham then through the medway towns and back to St Pancras international
I believe DTG have said SEHS route will not be extended further. The route you want could potentially have its own DLC one day with route hopping though perhaps!
They extended it once (read that as they rebuilt it from scratch), they ain't going to do it again. They only did that because there were some issues with the TSW2 version and it runs past Chatham where their offices are. Any further Southeastern route will be stand alone.
If it’s anything like the TSC version, all it really added was a long cutting down to Dover and a bit of a wind through the London suburbs at the inner end.
Hopefully one day, some genius will find a way to merge routes in tsw. So if we do end up with routes being split up into several "stand alone" routes, they can be merged into one route. As it should be.
Over the past few years, I have suggested this route in several different ways and time eras, but now, I can't be bothered with this route or any other anymore since it feels like a waste of time.
I agree, I don't think our suggestions are listened to in reality, they just make what they want to make. We are just shouting what we want in to a big black void!
They do listen. Some of the suggestions made here have come to fruition. Obviously, for reasons we'll never know, they won't listen to every one.
