The timetable is now available: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c111-timetables/i5980-mittenwaldbahn-2025 You will need this repaint too: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...ins/c67-european/i5972-br-2442-werdenfelsbahn As the Mittenwaldbahn will release soon, I already prepared a modern timetable which is set in 2025. The RB6 and S6 will drive on the line, operated by DB and ÖBB. We already have the accurate trains in Train Sim World (BR 442 and Rh 4024). I will use a Saturday timetable, because there are nearly no additional trains in the morning which would drive only Monday to Friday and on Saturdays runs an ICE (BR 411) to Innsbruck. I noticed later that the freight train to Vils only runs Monday to Friday, but I will ignore that fact as I already planned all formations for the Saturday timetable ^^ I saw a few pictures from freight trains that were rerouted via the Mittenwaldbahn. For more Variety I added one of those freight trains per direction. Required DLCs for the main layer: - Köln-Aachen (-> BR 442) - Dresden-Riesa (-> BR 442 and Laaers) - Semmeringbahn (-> Rh 4024) - Frankfurt-Fulda (-> BR 411) - Salzburg-Rosenheim (-> BR 111 + Dosto; maybe I do a seperate layer with it as there are only two trains running Garmisch <> Mittenwald) Other layers: - BR 101 (-> Nightjet Repaint) - Luzern-Sursee (-> Flirt/Westbahn) - Kassel-Würzburg (-> BR 401 and BR 403) In total there are 45 (southbound) and 43 (northbound) drivable trains on the route.
Awesome! I hope you can focus on the AI in and around Innsbruck. The 1116 with the ÖBB coaches is perfectly fine for it, maybe you can even utilise the pak repaints which makes them look like a nightjet etc. - https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...e-skins/c67-european/i5781-obb-railjet-reskin - https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...ropean/i4650-obb-coach-pack-liegewagensleeper - https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...ns/c67-european/i3807-hannahs-legacy-repaints
I would also be interested, if this is planned or considered. There's also similar mods for the Niddertalbahn (both a modern timetable and modern signs) and it would be suitable for a modern timetable. But of course this is not a must!
Niddertalbahn Modern timetable (by Perks390) Niddertalbahn Modern Signs (by Hannah Hermine) The timetable only works on TSW5 but the signs work on TSW4 as well.
could you may use the kgw Br 442 instead of the DRA one. The DRA one has the VOO banner on the site which dosent fit the route. you could also use a repaint.
A 4 part Talent 2 by an suitble repaint would be great! Any updates? Really looking forward to it : )
bennitweety#5692 there won't be modern station signs. dbcool#1874 I prefer driving the DRA 442 instead of the KWG 442, the KWG one seems to be made only for AI-trains. I also don't like the green PIS (there are no Talent 2 with green PIS). Trainx I agree, the Talent 2 would look a lot better with a Werdenfelsbahn repaint. Unfortunatly I don't know how to change decals on the train (I guess it is done with Blender?) I have implemented all Talent 2 services so far. The drivable 4024 should be easier to implement. In addition to the DRA Talent 2, the 442 from Köln-Aachen is also necessary because of the fourth car.
thats what happens when you mix trains from different dlcs, looks like the shinyness of one is higher than the other. Surely for consistancy sake just using one dlcs talent would be better?
The Talent 2 services need to couple/uncouple in Garmisch. I could either do the uncouple stuff into the player service or I let the AI service from Munich uncouple. If you uncouple by yourself, the rear light does not turn on automatically (that isn't realistic btw). Which of the both options do you prefer? I created a poll about that above. As you can see there is no rear light, so you need to run back to activate it.
Take into account that an 'uncouple' instruction should never be the last instruction of a service (player or AI) when making your decision. This can and will give explosive results with formations being launched into the air when the next service is started. This might limit the options you have. Regardless, I think it's always fun when you provide the opportunity to a player to do these kinds of operations, perhaps with a short shunt service that only consists of uncoupling and moving the train a few meters.
Don't worry, all of these services (with one exception for testing purposes :P) move a few meters after uncoupling. The only reason for me to do this poll is the missing Zg2 (rear light) after uncoupling which you would have to turn on manually.
Please rather just use the 3 cars even when they aren't as realistic. Mixing the two trains might result in unexpected behaviour, in addition to the different looks already.
Nah. The train does drive, brake -> everything is fine xD (fährt, bremst -> funktioniert ^^) Also it doesn't look that bad because I used the KAH car instead of using the DRA middle car twice. I created a 2-car-formation for the Werdenfelsbahn too and the brake also works. (I tested it, the HBL fills after braking) However, the 2-car-formation won't appear in the timetable as it only operates between Murnau and Oberammergau.
For my route, I built a 5-car version of the Dresden and Cologne Talent 2. I was able to drive it in the editor, but it did not spawn in the cooked version.
Little notice; that the 1st class is smaller in the 2-part Talent 2 Source: https://www.bahnbilder.de//1200/zwischen-unterammergau-oberammergau-babyhamster-442-1088925.jpg
The 4-car variant has a smaller 1st class too. I fixed it already: TaurusCB what you see in the pictures is the cooked version in TSW5 ^^
I first had problems too, but probably because of the repaint and not the formation itself. In case you did a VBB-Repaint or similar you would have to put "DRA_DB_BR442" or "KAH_DB_BR442" into the Required DLC section in the RVD.
Very interesting pictures Let me ask a question: There are timetables at all stations where it says when on the day which train goes where and my question would be whether they will be changed or simply left? Although it would be wrong then, since the timetables are for the year 1989.
Are you in contact with TSG? I would love to play the modern timetable on PS5; unfortunately, I can't play with mods, so I really hope that your wonderful work could be implemented into the route by TSG <3
The timetable is now available for download: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c111-timetables/i5980-mittenwaldbahn-2025 The Werdenfelsbahn Repaint got published too: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...ins/c67-european/i5972-br-2442-werdenfelsbahn The Talent 2 operates every 4 hours to Innsbruck and also every 2 hours to Seefeld in Tirol. There are three additional RE61 services from Munich to Mittenwald, some of them operate with the BR 111 and Doppelstockwagen. In the austrian part of the route, the Rh 4024 is way more present. The Talent drives every hour between Innsbruck and Scharnitz (it will already end at Seefeld in Tirol if there is a train Munich <> Seefeld in Tirol in that hour) and every four hours on the whole route from Innsbruck to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You will see the 4024 also operating on all regional/S-Bahn trains at Innsbruck. Innsbruck has also a lot long-distance trains. The majority of them is operating with the Railjet repaint (also from TSC).
There is one ICE service per direction, operating with the BR 411. You can also drive a few freight trains, one of them is the Ng 45140/Ng 45145 Hall <> Innsbruck <> Garmisch <> Vils. There is also a train with Laaers and another one with Eanos wagons. And finally a picture from the editor. It might look confusing, but the dependencies between instructions were important to prevent the trains from getting stuck. Unfortunatly the train uncouple instruction caused huge issues if you play a service that starts between the uncouple instruction and the departure of the train in Garmisch (that means any drivable services that start on the minute 1 or 2), so I had to put this instruction again into the portal service.
seblay1608 could you send me the timetable export, please? I would like to include your timetable into my online-ebula.de app. (right click in editor on the timetable file, then export asset as *.T3D)
Absolutely amazing. Finally, and thanks to AFB, I am actually able to take in the beautiful landscape One question, though. I noticed that for the fright services (at least for DGS49222, I assume for others as well), the go via instructions are extremely close to the signals, which are usually red when you approach them. If I would be driving without HUD I would not stop approx 10m in front of the signal and would therefore probably never release the next step of my service... If I may propose to place those instructions at least 100m in front of the signal. I would believe that this would have no negative impact to the rest of the time table?!
OpenMinded unfortunatly this is not possible because the AI wouldn't drive to the signal, so the other train couldn't instantly pass through the station as the track would still be occupied by the freight train. Also, you don't have to stop in front of the signal as "dispatch beyond" is activated for the most instructions. You can depart immediately after the other train arrives at the station, regardless of whether you have already completed the instruction or not.
While successfully using mods frequently, I don't have experience with livery mods. Could someone please explain to me how these work exactly? Are they additional or do they "overwrite" (supersede) the original? Are they only used when a timetable like this "asks" for them or is there a chance that I will unwillingly see them on other timetables/routes? Thanks.
The most livery mods add a new train (or more accurate: a new RailVehicleDefinition RVD). Only old pak-repaints (until TSW3) will overwrite the original. They can be seen on other timetables if the geographic regions in the RVD (for example: "Germany") match with valid geographic regions in the formation. But usually that won't be the case for DMUs/EMUs and wagons.
Okay, that sounds good. Thank you. Please don't be offended, but... Can someone else please confirm this or give another take? I'm not quite ready to jump yet. Thanks.
Absolutely! This is pretty common now with basically all of these mods (I am just a user, not a modder myself). However, I am using other community tt mods with this kind of setup as well. Despite, just try it and if you don't like it simply remove the mod from the DLC folder and it will all be gone, even though there is no need, as it has no effect on any other tt! But I can guarantee you will enjoying this mod a lot!
