On PS5, it is like this: when you select panto "normal", it is not raised at all. On "local", it is but still no power.
Whats the point putting TGV in the timetable you can't even drive the sodding thing set up is correct just will not move pantograph is up correct power is set (DC) permanently red square around the power number is this ever gonna get sorted. Also why playstation get patch almost straight away but xbox has nothing yet.
I could open the door, the air in the brakes responded, the pantograph went up, but I didn't move ..... but I've never ridden a TGV, I even tried some Introduction, but that didn't help either
It's bad that no manual goes with the route. At least signaling manual and a map with stations would be so nice to have. Then I could print it and make notes on the map to learn the route.
any fix for the invisible wall on the last bike collectable on PC and they mentioned "Moved ‘Bike Lock’ collectables to prevent an invisible wall from stopping players from getting to them." in the patch notes, what does it means?
I'm on xbox and I still can't reach it due to invisible wall they know but doing anything about it yet
PS5 Pro I just finished the morning service with the ICE-T from Kaisers to Mannheim. The entire route I followed the cockpit and another texture in front, where the ICE inscription is and above it the structure of the black window. The cockpit the whole time without noticeable problems even when zoomed in. The outer texture of the ICE inscription without visible problems, the only thing that slightly changed the structure was the black window in Mannheim, but that is usually indistinguishable to the user. And the columns of the roof structure may also be slightly blurred in Mannheim, but the question is whether this can be traced in normal operation. I will try the opposite direction with ICE 3 and ICE-T
PS5 I haven't managed to get to the intersection in Mannheim without being stopped by a red magnet yet, even though I was only going 40 and it stopped me even though it was showing 65, etc....I have a feeling that there's something wrong with those magnets in Mannheim. I'll probably have to turn off the PZB at Ludwigshafen and finish without it.
Ps5 Pro I just finished the (9556) ICE3 Mannheim - Kaiserslautern service, the textures are perfectly fine, both the cockpit and the exterior. But when entering Kaisers, there was a red magnet, the speed limit was 65, I was driving 40 and still got a penalty brake
PS5 So I don't know if the fact that the BR103 + Railtour service is not working will remain permanently non-functional, or if DTG will still solve it somehow? Thank you
PS5 So I took the first of two services for Dosto Cabcar. In Neustadt the white stripes blurred as usual and this time it remained until Kaiserslautern. At least the cockpit seemed to be okay. Interestingly, in the opposite direction with BR111 the textures were ok
Also from my side once again the confirmation that on PC platform: 1. There are no passengers to be found on the way who are standing on the platform or getting in/out. Very boring business this way. 2. Also on the motorway A65 (viaduct) route Neustadt Böbig to Hassloch there is still English traffic situation just like in Lambrecht. See example. Hopefully this will be fixed with the 2nd patch. Then 2 more fine-tuning requests, is it possible to: 1. Place the transmitter mast "Weinbiet" on the Haardt mountains near Neustadt? This is a striking landmark for Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. Especially if you drive from Ludwigshafen. 2. Placement of the ruin Wolfsburg", which is situated above the Wolfsbergtunnel on the edge of Neustadt Wstr. towards Lambrecht?
We will have to wait for the release of the second patch coming this week. This patch should resolve this issue.
It’s not exceptional but it’s a nice route, let down by 3 main glaring issues: 1) no passengers on any station outside of the main mannheim stations 2) light baking in the tunnels and the eye adaptation speed (way too slow) 3) the signalling coming into mannheim that threw me a full yellow I.e. not a 1000hz green/yellow, when I was just coming out of the diversionary curve in an ICE and doing 130kph, then followed by some 500hz magnets for no reason when I didn’t have a red ahead Oh, I’ll throw the unusable TGV in there as well. Otherwise, it looks pretty and kudos on the tree quantity, it feels very accurate
one would say even if they somehow adapted it, it would feel eeeh... TGV, first and foremost, needs a route where you can use not only TVM properly, but also KVB with actual numbers as depicted in LGV manual
Kaiserslautern Hbf - komplette Überarbeitung: > Oberleitungsanlage auf Vollständigkeit prüfen (u.a. 3.)
Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to use this letter to thank you first of all for the general depiction of this section of the so-called `Pfaelzische Ludwigsbahn´ on the simulation software `Train Sim World´ in version 5 (TSW 5). While I have to give you great praise for the high level of detail - right down to the underpasses and the immediate area around the platform, as well as the sound noises - I have noticed a few more subtleties that I would like to share with you, "Dovetail Games", as feedback - in bullet points below - of course as of 2013/14: 1.) Vehicles/rolling stock of the "S-Bahn RheinNeckar" have had fold-out external steps (gap bridging) and larger displays at the carriage transitions since the start of operations (December 2002) - no TFT monitor in the train and only 4-seater seating groups [S-Bahn Rhein-Neckar - Wikipedia]. Optimization and expansion of the displays desirable [ET 425 (S-Bahn Rhein-Neckar) - public transport information] (examples: S1 Zweibrücken Hbf, S3 Karlsruhe Hbf, S1 Homburg(Saar)Hbf,). 2.) Kaiserslautern main station - complete revision: > Check overhead line system for completeness (among other things, expansion in the direction of Saarbrücken and individual track sections required) > Buffer stops/protective stops are partially missing, signal aspects are not complete (example: N110 is missing Zs3 ``6´´, check signal designations > Track designations incorrect: track 120 is called 1 in simulation, track 8 is called 6 in simulation and track 10 is called 7 in simulation > Platform tracks missing: track 45 and track 42 > Platform heights incorrect: track 1 and track 120 platform edge only 55cm, track 39, track 40, track 41, track 42 and track 45 platform edge only 38cm above the top of the rail (SO) > Platform roofing of all tracks - with the exception of central platform 8/10 - deviates from reality [RB 70 in Kaiserslautern Photo & Image | rails, railway, tracks Images on photo community] > Passenger information display labels are sometimes implausible depending on the direction of travel (example: track 120) and information guidance system on staircases is incomplete > Loving design - as is the case over the entire route between Hochspeyer and Mannheim - of the station/track area (example: building to the right of the track, on track 10, does not correspond to reality - shops are missing or shown in a simplified manner, parking garage unfortunately not recognizable, signal box building with inscription. 3.) Section of the route Kaiserslautern main station - `Heiligenberg tunnel´ - complete revision: > Recognition due to incorrect topographical location (example: route winds along a narrow railway embankment at a high level. No road running parallel at the same level, to the right of the track there is only a forest path anyway, but the tracks are rarely visible) > Embankment width is oversized. 4.) Heiligenberg - equip the tunnel with lighting and make it a little wider. 5.) Hochspeyer station: advance signals on the mast of the exit signals 10N1, 10N2 and 10N3 are dark/extinguished when set to drive in the direction of Neustadt/Weinstraße and there is no indication of electrification at the level crossing [Tunnel view. DB 424 727 as S1 from Homburg (Saar) to Osterburken, here between Hochspeyer and Frankenstein (Palatinate) - Bahnbilder.de] 6.) Frankenstein (Palatinate) stop: missing characteristic small platform roof on track 1 [Bffrankenstein3 retouched - Frankenstein (Palatinate) station - Wikipedia], chapel building built into a row of houses - left of the track - [Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Frankenstein - West Palatinate Wiki] and inspection of the overhead line system for height and track position 7.) Lambrecht (Palatinate) station: platform height not correct - track 1 platform edge only 55cm above SO and paved with red stones. 8.) Neustadt(Weinstraße)Hbf station: track designation wrong - track 1a is called 1A in the simulation and its platform edge is only 55cm above SO. 9.) Schifferstadt station: overhead line system incomplete (behind entrance signal A), checking the signaling and comparing the signal box building with reality 10.) Ludwigshafen(Rhein)Hbf station: workshop of the "S-Bahn Rhein-Neckar" does not correspond to reality and checking signal locations, as well as the overhead line system (chain works in the freight yard) Admittedly - a relatively long list for an overall indescribably successful add-on, which has a high recognition factor with reality and is therefore fun to play. I am personally disappointed by the 'loss of quality' in the Kaiserslautern and Hochspeyer section of the route, but especially in the Kaiserslautern main station. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the 'attention to detail' is a little too much here, which is why I would be particularly pleased if "Dovetail Games" would take up the above-mentioned suggestions for improvement in a possible subsequent update and of course implement them. In my opinion, all of their German route extensions need a 'facelift', i.e. retroactively, with regard to the overhead line: firstly, in the permanent parallel run of the holding cable to the contact wire, which only occurs in exceptional cases in reality, and secondly in a more even transition between two catenaries. With the newly released ''Mittenwaldbahn', however, I think this has been very well done! Finally, two final points concern the functionality of the travel indicators hanging on the platform - depending on the signal position - and the possibility of self-labeling of train destination and passenger information systems. I would also welcome more variety in the color scheme. Although many elements in the rail infrastructure are in grey tones, I miss more lush green vegetation, for example, or the occasional paving of the platforms in the game. A final point concerns the representation of track vacancy detection devices, such as axle counting contacts on the track, connection boxes of all kinds, as well as level crossing switch-on and switch-off points. "Dovetail Games" delivers high quality in line with its own standards, resulting in products that allow the player to embody actually driving a train with or without passengers, or carrying out shunting operations. Thank you for such great - in terms of price-performance ratio - mostly justified simulation game (extensions)!!!
After reading this awesome feedback by M_-Bahn and waiting for the next patch (fingers crossed), I think I'll get this route next when "done" with Mittenwaldbahn
PS5 Perhaps the good news is that after today's update, the functional BR103 Railtour service has returned to the offer..... What the actual performance ratios will be and any blurring will be revealed over time during tests.
Hello everyone, I have just downloaded and installed the 2nd patch for my PC. Below is a list of improvements for the Ludwigsbahn. As far as I can read, nothing about the issues with missing passengers on the platforms or getting onboard and off, nor about English traffic on various roads. The TGV should be running now. We will check it. Good luck!
In the 'two state shuffle' scenario, you can only get a maximum of 4,350 points, where 5,000 is the limit for platinum. PS5.
Good work for pointing out the bugs and constructive feedback for the devs. But seriously, you actualy think thats gonna be fixed? Even when players go in such a detail to help devs and short cut the patches, DTG doesnt give a damn. Rushed timetable, No new rolling stock for full price. Strict no buy until 85% sale!!
PS5 Pro So I tried the same service with CabCar Dostos for comparison with the previous state, and when arriving in Neustadt, the white stripes are still blurred, we know the problem from other maps, for example Salzburg Rosenheim in the Salzburg area, I'm not even talking about Frankfurt ... I'm not talking about the FTF map on purpose, we've given up on that for good
A couple of issues checked for PC: 1. Passengers are back on trains and platforms! 2. The TGV is now running so the scenarios can be played. 3. English car traffic is NOT solved. Still on the wrong sides of the road.
Had a go with the TGV on PS5 with the new update. All working well so great job to the team. Hopefully this means we should see TGV AI on Frankfurt-Fulda and Koln-Aachen when the new timetable releases (perhaps even drivable). Overall the route is looking a lot more polished now.
PS5 What surprised me was that the luminous segment of the tunnel near Frankenstein still hasn't been repaired, and there's still a lot of floating vegetation in the area of the trolley wires near the tunnel portals.
I did notice in the preview stream, that there were some major errors in Kaiserslautern Hbf, mainly the roofs. But dang, that's quite a lot, which should be obvious to anyone who visited the station once. I mean, DTG does send at least one staff member out on the real line to gather references. Did they just not bother with Kaiserslautern? The rest of the stations seem fine. The bad representation of Kaiserslautern Hbf was one of multiple reasons why I didn't buy this route. I've lived in Kaiserslautern for 8 years and drove on this line regularly. It was one of my first suggestions on the forums. But the product that DTG delivered feels rushed and bodged together. In its current state, it's no faithful representation of this awesome route.
PS5 One thing I don't understand at all. Why can't I confirm Sifa with the circle button on the DB Vectron and Dostos Cabcar even during the interval and it only works when the signal light or acoustic signal appears. It's quite uncomfortable. However, the RP Vectron and Dostos Salzburg Rosenheim can do it. I think it was also fixed on the Dostos Salzburg Rosenheim. And one more thing, when we uninstalled the BR218 DLC, BR612 disappeared from the service menu, and when I put it back, BR612 appeared again... interesting connections
PS5 It was already here after the first patch, then it seemed to be ok, and now it's here again. When active services with ICE-T or DB Vectron (add-ons from the FTF map) are started, trains with BR628 and BR642 are deactivated in operation. And even in the 2D map, connections at the platforms are not displayed. This map must be enchanted, isn't Frankenstein involved?
I checked the passenger issue again. You are right. The platforms are empty. There is no passenger to be found. The only thing that makes it lively, is that there are now passengers getting off the train. So there are no waiting and boarding passengers to be seen. So for both PC and Xbox (PS5?) it is not solved yet.
On the 425, I can only stand up from the left of my cabin-chair. I get then stuck to go inside the passenger train... My only way to get out of the train is on the left cabin door. But sometimes.. the station platform is on the right... To get there, I need to walk over the track to climb the platform. Why I am getting blocked of the passenger door and the cabdoor on my right when inside the cab? Anyone else has the same problem inside the cab of the 425?
With the new 17 February patch, have the "all-star" issues been resolved? Have not read about the following in the changelog: - Lighting in Kehre Tunnel - Missing station signs at Weidenthal . Tree in the overhead wires And does the 103 railtour exist again now?
Spoiler alert: - Kehre Tunnel glows like a very bright thing - No station signals at Weidenthal And no 103. Only walk.
For which platform do these issuses occur? For PC I haven't got these. Also the 2 BR 103 timetables are working.
