Unless you get permission from the relevant sources you wouldn't be allowed to do that. You would be redistributing payware which is again the terms and licence. If you want to make that I'd do it unbranded and make it fully yourself not using anything from dtg or jt etc. I would still be careful of permissions though.
im not going to release it anyway. just wanted to show it and hope someone makes it a real dlc in future i figured how to make it move at last....
so I would say try to make a full mock up your self, use their stuff as reference. that's fine but try when showing something it's fully yours if it's the focus of the thing. JT could still be annoyed as you've mentioned them, and also your using their stock with an alteration. They may see that as people may think something is gonna happen when it may not. plus you made the front bit, you may as well mock up the rest of it and just do it unbranded that way you don't have to worry about using anything of DTG or JT's. You'd just have to make sure there's no logos or anything linking It to the train operator. Also, it'd have to be freeware/
Okay it now references the HST MK3 and does not work if i remove the pak containing it from the game so does this mean if i release it it wont have payware files included?
Why do you need to ref dlc files, if you've made it fully and are going through making it fully you won't have any dlc that you need to reference. Unless under the outer shell your using the mk coach which I'd be careful doing.
Looks amazing so far, keep up the good work. Don't let people discourage you from making something you love!
Don't think anyone has been doing that, just rather making sure they know what not to do so they don't get into trouble . It's good what they've made.
