Hello, Since everyone started their own topics, I will follow the bandwagon. I've got TSW for a few days ago, took advantage of the sales. So far I am enjoying it. I still see a lot of space for improvement but I believe the railfans behind the development of TSW will improve the simulator. Here's some first impression from the NEC and the ACS64. I hope you will enjoy these screenshots. Regards, BRD
333talgo thanks for your compliment! Meanwhile for the 1st time I have boarded a train while exploring the route and I was enjoying the view from the back of the last passenger car.
Well done BRD. The city-scapes and the loco in front of Newark are very sharp. ACS-64, one of my favs - so clean
I have finally got ( my paws on ) the Main Spessart Bahn and honestly I am very positively impressed! There's definitely some bugs that need attention but so far I think this has been my favorite DLC for TSW. So here's a few screenshots from the MSB!
Yesterday I livestreamed TSW for the 1st time and I was having a lot of fun trying to hop on freight trains without success ( they always managed to start moving before I got on them! ). But as soon as I did grab this one, I got a message that I did not have permission to drive it. No problem - I sat down on the second man's seat and was trainspotting the train during the trip! MSB is one awesome DLC! PS: Screenshot had to be downsized as the original .png screenshot had 15MB, 4096 x 2160 px and was to big for the forum.
It is kinda of a pity the lack of decoration on the mountains, but maybe the purpose was to make the route more optimized. I still like this shot a lot, though. What do you think?
It has been a long while since I was around the forums! I have been busy... Today I think I will go grab the Peninsula Corridor. But meanwhile, I've been playing with the MSB again!
As announced earlier today, I decided to finally purchase the Peninsula Corridor and honestly I am quite glad I did so. I think I can safely say I have now a new favorite add-on for TSW! Here's some shots of my first impressions.
Glad you're enjoying the new route! It's my new favorite as well, the brakes if the F40PH are pretty hard. Welcome back to the forums, too... unfortunately it's still a mess here...
Hey raildan ! Thanks a lot! It is amazing. So far I have been mostly training with the locomotive by making few of the Journeys scenarios. Today I have been TRAINing with the driving cab. I'm really happy with DTG's work on this DLC.
A few days ago I bought the Trans-Peninne DLC for TSW and today I couldn't avoid but to also buy the freight pack with it. I am enjoying the route and all the rolling stock a lot, but now with the presence of freight workings, the 40 and the Gronk, things just got much more fun now. Speaking of the 40, here's a shot with 40029 working a semi fast service to Leeds.
Yesterday at night when I got home from work ( mind you, I travel by train daily and I love it ), it was already dark and raining. So I had the mood to recreate that weather and time on TSW. What I did not expect, however, is that the weather would be slightly colder in-game. So then I have witnessed one of the best things ever. A full transition between rain to snowing! I'll start off by showing how the journey went. I first started out with the BR 143 on a RB train from Gemunden to Lohr and return. Then after returning to Gemunden, I have waited for any freight trains that would show up. Lucky me, a BR 155 shown up towards Aschaffenburg! I love how it looks during the night with the instrument lights turned on. Such a nice atmosphere! At this moment I was waiting for a freight train to arrive while an RB would depart. While driving, I noticed that the rain looked a bit different... it looked it was getting freezing on the windows.
Last but not least, it started to actually snow and moments after, the route was covered in snow. How awesome is that?!
I love hearing the Class 45 at full power and when the ventilator fan is working hard as well. So hauling these loaded oil trains along the route are perfect for listening that.
I just recently played TSW full-blast with my headphones. It was great! I ran my Class 45 into a tunnel, and honked the horn, and my head nearly exploded.
Haha, that is totaly worth it JohnnyK98 ! I must admit I normally like driving with the windows open to hear the loco better.
Ooof, it's been a while since I lasted posted here! I've just done a nice run with a BR 185 on the RSN.
