Drop your guesses for what’s in the march roadmap here Thought I would make a separate thread here, to avoid any conflicts with existing discussions
More news on how Köln-Aachen timetable upgrade is getting on testing. Gwe remaster news. Optimization news.
I'm guessing some more information on the Welsh route which would be good. Anything regarding the ECML pack would be cool as well although there are still a few things wrong with the 47 as has been pointed out. Anything from Just Trains would be nice too! Hoping for more on the 104 but that's more hope than expectation at this rate and since it was at 0-3 months around a year ago and all we got was a untextured screenshot I worry that this may be a little speculative.
Another development update on the 86 is a welcome sight. Really cool to see JT introducing a 3rd livery as well! https://www.justtrains.net/in-devel...Jk1w_aem_-Fdi0yxek68h53c42F9-Kg#entry20250303
I expect so too. They've only shown the ICMm so far, but nothing for the SNG and the route itself. Should be something to show considering the release is expected within 3 months (and that was a month ago).
Dutch route release date reveal aswell as perhaps revealing what the new german route is. Entirely unlikely are news for the 420, but one can only hope...
Well the 104, ATS route and Tadami will all still be in the 3 months plus category. Wouldn't be surprised to see Cardiff moved up to imminent, along with the Dutch route. More gibber about Thomas the Cashcow Engine. Maybe reveal about the new German route location. A new in house UK route and US too. Nary a whisper on meaningful core fixes, particularly the sound.
UK: More information about Cardiff City Network, GWE Remaster, Manchester Airport Commuter, and 104 DE: announcement of the new route or new loco (or just provide some screenshots), more information about Köln-Aachen Free Timetable Update Maybe some information about the core update
When was the last time we heard about the GWE remaster? I would have thought it would be out by now, with how many screenshots they showed off a couple of months ago.
I don't expect too much, otherwise I'll once again be disappointed in DTG and in the game itself, aphahah P. S. But seriously: I'm waiting for something from Amtrak and the Dutch route
I can tell you what is not going to be in the roadmap and will never be spoken of again: Maintalbahn missing mountains on Xbox.
Announcing the Unannounced German Route. Tadami Line Update Maybe but doubtful…. Something about Rivet Games as they have gone dark for quite some time now. We know they are working on The Bus at the moment but a nice update from them would be appreciated. Probably an Update on the ATS Route also.
the roadmap is already out, it's Spoiler S-Bahn Rhein-Main between Frankfurt an Wiesbaden / S1, 8 and 9
Considering that the 420/430 is now here... Any chance of reviving the remaining S-Bahn lines in FTF?
Nothing about gwe remaster and when it will be released. But i will be buy the Cardiff route and the new frankfurt route.
Obviously very very excited for Welsh route. Saw they added two stations?! That's exciting. Imagine ap sounds and better mix than the old 150..... Apart from that, mildmay looks decent and also the class 86 and cargo line Worried however about athena pack. They seemingly haven't taken feedback onboard?
The old 150 is actually using ap sounds. It just sounds off because the physics was bad. In tsw, physics and sound go together so if one isn't correct, the other suffers
The remaster is being made by a single dev in his free time. It's basically an overhaul which is a ton of work. Plus the dev had to work on other more important projects like the wcml and wsr and such
Anyone else disappointed there’s no new entries on the roadmap? I guess this is what we’ve got now until September when TSW6 is out.
I certainly feel for our North American friends, or those of us elsewhere in the world who happen to like US and Canadian stuff. It does rather seem as if DTG have folded up their tent as regards any new NA routes, whether competition from Run 8 and Railroader, licensing issues or the big Class One railroads turning their backs on them. Seems to me a bit more moxie and thinking outside the box needed to continue some sort of American content.
Yeah, the US situation is pretty sad. Like sure, we just got the new Metrolink locomotive recently, but other than that the only thing we have is the Santa Fe pack. Even though there is plenty of opportunities with US even with the existing routes. Like the LIRR diesels, NJT Arrows for NEC, more MBTA stock (like an F40PH-2C or an MP36), more Clinchfield locos, etc. It would be nice if more third parties focusing on US stuff would get on boards. Skyhook did do some US stuff, but they also seem to focus only on british content now.
Understand what you are saying but they could have give us an update on how its coming along also maybe an update on koln achne update as well
Well yea, all the content was announced several months ago as part of a big reveal event so not much new to reveal
In reality, there would be accidents on routes that actually have traffic lights, so this can't be called a simulator. The model of the roads along the line being like playing with blocks ruins the sense of immersion. I don't want to see passengers buried on the platform. Please test it properly before release. Please excuse any inappropriate expressions as translation software is used.
I suspect licensing plays a huge part in this. Train companies don't want their trains depicted in a bad way.
