On the way back from Innsbruck, I get stopped at a red light 649m before Seefeld in Tyrol PL2, I have waited 30 minutes and nothing changed, how are we supposed to finish this scenario PS when I looked at the map I see a train stopped at the red light exiting this station, and a few station further up there is a train that is stopped coming into that station sayin om that map that is is waiting for dependency
This has happened to me as well. I am sick of this problem keep happening with scenarios. Maybe DTG need to add a tool into the game they already have a reset physics to the loco / unit in the game how about a tool to remove stuck trains and reset signals needs to be implemented? This is on PS5
You can open the live map, select the stuck train, and remove it. Should clear your path. Not that we should have to do, but does as a temporary (although it may as well be permanent) workaround.
I think you are right just went into a service and you could remove one but not in the scenario. Shame they don't add a toggle in the options to enable you to do it in a scenario
going to finish off the rest of the scenarios and trophies on the pack and then try again when they fix it
Ah, apologies. Never do scenarios, just assumed it'd work the same as in timetable mode. It should do. Seems to be yet something else they failed to implement.
some people have finished it as a few people have the all scenario trophy so not sure if a patch broke it. Anyone who did complete the scenario did you save at any point? In the past I have found saving during a scenario has messed up the signalling systems a 2 and a half hour scenario you would want to save in the event of a slip up. I sometimes think TSW needs auto saves as well to recover from a silly mistake in the event you forget to save but it needs to have a reset of physics and such I am thinking of trying the scenario from scratch without any saves after I have completed the other scenarios
that is good to know saves me trying again I expect a patch messed up the scenario I will wait until the patch is issued which is not a given considering they never fixed a scenario with TSW4 route Vorarlberg (red light train stuck in station). I managed to get it on PS5 version before they broke it (could not do it on PS4 version) but they never fixed it after they broke it until TSW5
I have finished this scenario without issues. I rarely use the save function, however, with this scenario I did. I was pretty much on time all the way. Maybe you were late and the services somehow locked each other?! Just a guess…
can I ask was it recently? I did run about 30 min behind as it was the first time I had driven that loco I have finished the other scenarios now so I am much better at driving it
I cant say it exactly any more, but I started the scenario beginning of last week, saved it and completed it a couple of days later around mid to end of last week. At least I am not aware of any update in between when I finished it and today.
Ok thanks for the info I will try to again I will keep saves to a minimum maybe the lateness of the train did mess it up
An Update! I did finally complete the scenario and I did save a few times 1st time when I got to the end of the line. On this run I was about 1 or 2 min behind in the end so my guess especially as its mostly a single track route is if you fall behind too much it can mess up. My mistake was doing this scenario first when I have not got a complete handle of the loco. The 5 scenario trophy also unlocked as this was my 5th one! So my advice to people if you play this scenario if you fall behind too much say 15-20 min+ restart the scenario. If you did not have to make the return journey you would be fine I suspect, also do another one of the senarios / services to get used to the loco first
