    Question why is when you are in a 350 and destination Birmingham and you stop a Leighton and so why does divert you from the fast tracks on to the slow tracks to use the platforms on that side why cant we use the fast track platforms.

    Probably so fast trains can go through without slowing down, it’s like that on other mainlines too

    I think there is a service in the morning which uses the fast lines.

    There’s a few servers during the day I think but only on the up line.

    The platforms on the fast lines aren't generally used for regular services on slower trains.

    Just done one 390/0 service that direct you on slow line, 20 kilometres before Milton Keynes redirect on fast line and few kilometres before station redirect on slow line
