Sherman Hill almost all speed limits are missing.
Cajon Pass some speed limits are missing.
San Bernardino every single one speed limit for the freight trains are missing.
Antelope Valley show wrong speed limits(passengers) for the freight train.
What's the point of such a track monitor?

I created a ticket in February 2024 for missing track monitor speed limits when driving Sand Patch Grade. This was for TSW4 and the issues still exist today in TSW5. Like you I've seen the same issues on other US routes. As a workaround I had to turn on "Next Speed Limit HUD"

Horseshoe - no speed limits on track monitor.
Boston Commuter - some are missing for the freight trains.

usually I find kind of the opposite - track monitor shows a speed limit, HUD shows it, but there is no post, or is at only the next or left/rightmost track :D ... and on Antelope and San Bernardino, the post is sometimes only done in one direction, and from the other, you just see the back of it lol... I believe they have fixed some of it on Frankfurt Fulda (the part where you do a lot of track switching from 80 to 120 to 100 - thats how it used to be, now it is 80 to 100 I think; it doesnt show those 120 since I believe you only cross a couple meters of it before switching further) and on Mannheim Kaiserslautern

The one thing that bugs me about the Track Monitor is it only shows line speed.

Line speed may be 100mph, but no point showing it if my train can only go 75mph.

HUD deals with that :) ... lets say you are on Mannheim Kaiserslautern, driving 425, and you get onto the track with limit of 160 kph, the track monitor shows 160 cos thats the limit, and HUD shows your actual limit which is 140 kph cos of 425 :)

Fair enough. Sometimes though I'll forget what I'm driving and wonder why I'm driving so slow :D. So I look at the track monitor to see what the speed is, only to find I can't reach it.

or in case of some unrealistic BR 218 substitutions where that loco is set to haul like 6-7 dostos up some inclines lets say, on routes that have 160 kph limit and the REX-es are expected to reach that speed rather quickly... and you get a loco that can go "only" 140 kph and if you try to reach 160, at around 155 it cuts off the engine for a while :D ... and it gets to speed rather slowly, cos y know, diesel hydraulics... so you actually never reach that limit :D (Koln Aachen omg :D ... had like 10mins delay at the end even with slamming the throttle all the time :D )

    Clarification.
Westbound show nothing, except area around Altoona.
Eastbound sometimes shows freight, sometimes passenger, most of the time it shows nothing.
Sometimes the track monitor just stuck with phantom 35, which gets further away as you get closer to it. This chase for 35 continues for several minutes.

Cajon Pass. Near Victorville northbound train. The physical sign says P-50, F-45. The track monitor says 55. Where the hell did these freaking 55 come from?
