If you already own tsw 5 and wsr then its a free upgrade for the route - misleading information

 

i dont own TSW5 WSR i own TSW2 WSR

 

I had a problem with WSR not coming up on my available DLC for TSW5, as mentioned on the other thread. Had to re-download TSW4 and WSR for that and it then appeared as available in TWS5.

 

don't quite answer my question...

 

The burning question that needs an answer is does the OP even own TSW5 if no then as far as I know he won't have any access to Thomas and his gang....

If you got the free version of TSW5 and own WSR at all then I believe you're all good.

If you haven't done so already you may need to download the TSW5 specific version of WSR but this should be free for you since you already own the route. You don't need to rebuy routes when upgrading to a new TSW but sadly routes need to redownloaded for each specific TSW. A well-documented annoyance, but that's the way it currently goes.

So yeah, from what you've said you should be all good to simply buy the Thomas pack once it's available.

Right, you should then be able to download the current updated version and in tern bag Thomas when he busts out into our world tomorrow, this is how I think it works, but I'm a idiot so who knows......

 

Which platform are you on?

• If on PS4/5: You will need to upgrade your DLC to the TSW5 version - read this;
• Not on PS4/5: If on the same platform & account your DLC will automatically available for download in your TSW5 DLC list

Does that mean that the description on the PS store and Xbox store are wildly misleading and inaccurate then? There is a very big difference between the word recommend and require.
