hello i have found a bug on the 153/3 full prm complaient on small cab end on the crew side of the cab the door handel is not conected to the door see picture 2-3
I bought, really enjoyed both the 153 and 150. However the latter is lacking low end on the sounds as well as running sounds? I do feel notch 4/5 with step one brake gives a better engine run up as per the real units. Some signalling anomalies too such as held at reds once doors have closed? I did refund but will pick up again when becomes cheaper. £20 price point would be correct for the size/ type of route. .
Early morning conductor mode service from Central to Heath High Level train left with it still saying press signal button.
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but in the St David’s Day scenario, it’s a bit annoying having to fully load the passengers, lock the doors and then unlock them again to let yourself out to put the decorations up - would be better if you did it whilst the passengers were loading.
I’m glad someone else noticed this! I made a post on this thread last week regarding this and forgot to add some details. This bug is so annoying.
Between Cardiff Queen Street station and Cardiff Bay station, you have to pass a red signal. If you do that, emergency brakes will apply and for some reason you will lose your assigned path. Before passing the red signal, press the Train Stop Override button on the left side above the window and you can pass the red signal without issues and going back again, the AI train will not be blocked and you can finish the scenario.
Noticed another audio bug/error whilst I’ve been enjoying the 150/2. when driving the 150/2, 1 coach engine sometimes tends to be out of sync with the main carriage (carriage you are driving from). what I mean is when you depart in notch 3, one carriage will rev up gradually like it should but sometimes, the non driving carriage will sometimes just rev right up really loud before settling. not that big of a issue but the power simulation between the 2 coaches in the SimuGraph could be tweaked so that both carriages rev up equally and output the same power and torque, whilst being in sync with the sounds. Xbox Series S (just incase)
Another thing I noticed when asking friends to screen share. Most of the stations that’s utilise the teleport function to swap platforms have all the entrances and roads required to walk to them. Surely it’s not hard enough to make the extra couple of yards walkable?
Overall i really enjoy this route, but one issue is if you drive a service to the end, then want to take that same train on it's next scheduled service, the new timetable/objectives don't load and stay stuck on the first original service, which makes staying in game and driving 2-3 services back to back really difficult, so it would be great if that could be looked into!
Is this after loading back into a save game on the subsequent service, or straight off by keeping going? The first is a known bug which DTG seem incapable of fixing, if it’s the second then it looks like the problem has spread. And some other thoughts on Cardiff City, having had a good hour or two on the new Dutch route it is absolutely diabolical that for £30 DTG gave us so little and of such poor quality with Cardiff by comparison. As an act of good faith they should be dropping the Cardiff route down to £18 and refunding the difference to those who bought it. Failing that, the route should go back in for a V1.1 upgrade, at a minimum extending to Barry Island, Caerphilly and Pontypridd to give a slightly more respectable driving distance.
Vern, I fear we can’t have it both ways. Either they decrease the price and improve what we have now to an acceptable standard or they keep the price as is and add more track, stations and improve the quality of what’s already been released.
If anything the Dutch route really does show the issue with this route. There's just such a massive gulf in quality between the two routes that can't really be explained by a £3 difference. I do hope this can be updated though and something can be saved because there are some really good bits of this route just let down by some really shoddy bits. It's one of those things, we know DTG can produce an incredible route. They've shown it again with the Dutch route. We really need some consistency amongst releases
the whole issue with central not being modelled and being excused is what really put me off to the point that I refunded it and really reinforced my stance on waiting for a sale. Then you have the likes of Whitchurch with the repeated bush textures. The route really could’ve done with an extra few weeks of polish instead of excuses being made in the livestream for example. Appreciate the acknowledgment of feedback good and bad - I’ve said before, as I am based out of central, it’s disappointing to see the difference in quality shown across this route, let alone when compared to Zwolle. I really do hope that updates can be made and yous can consider: Finishing Cardiff Central and allowing a walkable path between all platforms Making paths between platforms at minor stations walkable where permittable. Especially when it’s all already modelled. As said above and in the discussion thread, just because the feedback isn’t all positive doesn’t mean that no one is interested in the route or location. It just misses polish where it matters to a lot of people.
This. No good DTG turning round and saying the "network" concept route didn't sell when it failed due to short distance, quality and way over priced.
I’m doing the Bay Blockage scenario and am stuck on a red outside Queen Street, having returned up from Cardiff Bay. The instruction has changed from wait at Cardiff Bay signal to Stop At Location but the red won’t change. On Xbox Series X if it helps.
Well we know what the frontage of Cardiff Central looks like. Now here’s how Groningen was built for the Dutch route… I would like someone from Dovetail to come on here and explain with all sincerity how one route gets superb 3D modelling like this, yet the latest UK route seems to have been built with contempt and indifference. And how can you justify charging £30 for such a shoddy, short route?
I thought it was me, but this has happened a few times now and appears to be a bug DTG Harry You cannot click YES to hand over a service to the AI, the button does nothing. PC Player - Steam
I have come across an issue. X Box series X Scenario St David’s Day When at station you unlock doors then lock when ready to go and then up pops the prompt to decorate the station so you have to unlock get out do the decorating get back then go. You can’t do it before the prompt as the interact icon doesn’t appear. It’s quite annoying that you have to go through the unlock / load / lock then unlock and get out which just wastes time.
As it should be, the WCL 150 is labelled left/right too but i'm talking about the hover label. on the WCL 150 when you point at the switch the slider shows day/night depending on which end you aim it to slide too
I’ll have to check when I get home, I work night shifts on a depot so I don’t have much time to check! I’ll check tonight when I’m home and I’ll update this reply here^
I also believe someone else mentioned the issue, not sure if it was in this thread or a different one!
Just doing the run now, it’s Service 5F20 - CC to CANTON DEPOT. Service 1F20 is the service from Aberdare to CC which then turns into the 5F20 Depot run. Issue is still there, A 4-car 150 merged into another 150 on the next siding, blocking my line into the depot because of the limited clearance. got photos here!
. This has now become my general "go to" route. Apart from some dodgy scenery and not going to Barry Island it's decent.
Hi. I know that a patch has been released for this today with some fixes, and our teams are continuing to work on future fixes. The original post you replied to doesn't have a specific bug mentioned, so I'm not sure if any of those fixes from today's patch resolve any of your concerns. But we're continuing to work on fixes for this route.
A proper frontage and useable subway for Cardiff Central would be a good place to start for the next patch…
So - I just played the CCN again on YouTube this time... in the hour long stream I tried driving and guard mode. Noticed on the 150 that you can give the driver the ready to start with the local door open and you also only have to press one on the buzzer for the driver to take power. Unsure if this is known. There was also an issue with tickets showing up in un-occupied seats. This isn't from the update today.
Is this route finished or does the developer plan to extend it? There is great potential, but at the moment it is completely ruined. I don't care about underpasses, but what you see outside your window can't be the same house with a trampoline in the garden. Why didn't they add some better vegetation by the tracks? It looks bad.
It will be a travesty if it doesn't. As I stated in another thread, building this miniscule Cardiff Network effectively kills off the chance of a wider Cardiff Valleys in TSW, just as the half Bernina and three quarter Mildmay route will never see these lines evolved to the full potential. I was watching the Videoscene Class 37 cab ride from Cardiff to Rhymney earlier and, while set in a slightly earlier era, a huge opportunity missed not to do the run through from Rhymney to Barry Island.
