Yes I understand that and please I know it not as easy as I think. I was again watching something last night. There was row upon row of the class 60. As I say rioting away.

I do find what you say about licensing very interesting to me right now.
I’d like to expand more on that but unfortunately I can’t.

But I will say this,,any firm especially GBRf say with what it does with its fleet do it for PR purposes.
So naturally being involved with DTG would be good for fans would it not, good PR. Yet why would a Rail operator not be involved with a company such as DTG, I can only speculate on that.

Again tho it’s not my place or area of expertise, we can hope that just one day what ever the case maybe, that companies put there differences to one side. Be for a special occasion or benefit of fans and the rail industry as whole.

Why work against each other when you can help each other. To become better people which make a successful foundation for business.

And it’s PR image for Fans of Rail.
Like Russia and the US, maybe one day just one day we can just get along, even train companies and game’s developers.

Okay I’ll say this as a hypothetical scenario. But what if tomorrow you woke up and every single loco you and other dream of where available but only as a limited time. How much would you be willing to pay?.

They would be very different to what you normal see, more like a proper model. I like this idea due to the issue modelling can present.
Cost, space etc. But your locos and models all there for you to collect as you would in the normal way if buying models in one place. A game.

As I say this is all hypothetical but to make a dream come true means the Gods decide if it’s dream worthy of there time.
Do we deserve and what do the Gods get back in return?.

Everything in this world has a price and everyone has to have their share, especially the Gods, (The companies)
We have to apiece the Gods first before a dream comes true.

 

To the suggestion of the Class 730 for BCC.. aren’t there supposed license issues with WMR / LNWR that would prevent it being done? Even access to a unit to replicate?

I’ll also hope for the 91/DVT!

Huge reveal for a French route:

 

Hopefully something from south Africa, Australia or India

 

The 220/1/2 shape would make perfect sense, in XC colours would work on MML, ECML, BCC, E-G, FC, GCC and Glossop, as well as the forthcoming Manchester Airport.

 

Any Sydney City Route would be fantastic.

Rivet Games are starting work right now. Apparently only one half of the stations at Waterloo and Bank will be modelled.

Sounds will be aliased to the same Ford Transit van as the 484.

Since last year we got the Class 380 with a new timetable for Cathcart, this time i'm gonna say we'll see a Class 730 with a new timetable for Birmingham Cross City. May as well put the 730 on WCMLS too while they're at it.

 

Its time for a step up in realism

 

One can hope... I'd love that more then anything. But with Rivet seeming to be unofficially churning out DTGs UK content at the moment, I wouldn't hold out much hope. Would love to be proven wrong on that front.

Always assumed 730/0 meant shortened set and 730/2 meant that there were two extra carriages.

 

They'll do what they always do: celebrate some railway-related anniversary in some way.

It'll be something to do with the Railway 200 celebrations most likely.

 

I’ll be happy if DTG announces a Railway200-themed DLC before the end of the year

 

If it’s for the Railway 200 celebration then I won’t say no to the Class 395 015 special livery.

 

It would be pretty weak to only get a livery for the railway 200 years celebration , this just my opinion

 

If we're thinking like that then the new loco could be something for GWE as we know it's getting a remaster by DTG Liam who from my memory also did the Cathcart remaster. Which would make sense considering we haven't been given a release date for the route and with how there's supposedly going to be no new timetable. It would make sense if a new loco dlc were made for the route like the 180, 60, 165 etc.

 

The Rail 200 livery is going to be the new livery on the entire 395 fleet when phase two of the refurbishment programme begins (bar the Rail 200 decals obviously). If they were to do the new livery, it would be short-sighted of them to only do the one Rail 200 one. It would be the inverse of the missing livery variants of the 395 we have now.

Hopefully if they looked back at the 395 they'd do something about the horrific sounds as well...

 

Would be nice to see Tees Valley get a bit of love - after all it IS the Stockton & Darlington (or part of it at least).

Also the Tanfield Railway is celebrating its 300th anniversary this year. Could make a nice mini DLC with a few tank engines and industrial diesels, albeit only a few miles long.

 

That 3d ballast is next level.

 

I can only dream as well. (This for SEHS maybe then Clan Line if steam somehow makes a comeback?)

 

There is a new timetable.

 

Call me crazy, but last year DTG teased the IC Cab Car by hiding it behind a dosto formation calling the day "dosto celebration day". What if this was a second teaser within the same picture.
It could be a possibilty that Dtg was hinting at a possible project for this April.
After many many routes like HBK and FTF have only the low entry dostos, this could change and maybe we would get high entry dostos layering on all routes using them irl. As a gameplay pack with a Beacon Rail Vectron using PIS of course.

(I still hope for ICE 4 or Flirt 3 but might lower your expectations)

 

Exactly. The update is free, but the effort and work will be paid for by the optional add-on. Possibly locking a new timetable behind it..

My speculation is its going to be an unbranded 360 heathrow connect for the upcoming GWE remaster
