I would not download any 3rd party stuff you think is suspect. A clean install of desired 3rd party on top of a clean Steam file validation should do the trick. Steer clear of any 3rd party skins until you get your pc working the way you want to. If then you get itchy and feel you are missing some special content then harvest it. One step at a time to ensure you have some robust save points.

Hello there i did say i would get back to you and i have i have a positive idea to think it is serz exe because some of the routes have to run certain items to the route it needs to run and then that popup i showed shows up so is there any idea to get serz.exe working by any chance? sorry if that dont make sense i can reword if needed

SERZ should never be used unless you are creating manual changes to your data set. It is a conversion tool used to change a .bin file to a .xml file and vice versa. Normally this is all executed within the .64exe file. If this is being called out then this points to some 3rd party software you have loaded which is calling this up. You would normally only use this tool if you were performing some low level asset modification. If you are seeing this pop up this would suggest to reinstall the DLC assets that you currently have. I suspect your asset sets have been compromised.

Just resync your Steam stuff. No need for a fresh install. Once your files are verified all of your Steam DLC should work fine (you should unsubscribe from Workshop items first in case these are what is causing the problem). Set the sync in motion go for a half hour cup of tea and you should be good to go.

You are wrong. And you are clutching at straws
Every DTG route will run once downloaded without any interference from the user.

A lot of people won't know what Serz is for or even use it.
Do you know what Serz is used for?
And when you unsubscribe from the Workshop do you MANUALLY remove the routes?
If you don't they will still be on your computer.

If one resync one’s Steam product it should create a succinct data set and overwrite any broken code. It is the import from a rogue Workshop item or 3rd party which can overwrite some of the critical TSC code. By resyncing Steam data these breaks should be overwritten and existing Steam DLC should now work. The problem may be if one still has a live subscription to a rogue workshop item THAT may overwrite the critical TSC code.
Recommendation: Once you have subscribed to a Workshop item and Steam has downloaded the code UNSUBSCRIBE that item so that it no longer has control of your pc!

Hello there i am really sorry but i have been working for the last few days and ive not been able to relax but i tried what you said and it didn't seem to work. If you think it is worth it then should i contact DTG and see if they can do anything?

For clarity. With only Steam DLC (no Workshop items) you cannot get the sim to work?

Ok so which downloaded routes are a problem (let’s take Workshop off the table first). If you have only Steam DLC can you sync your Steam file complete so that there is a good baseline therefore overwriting any holes in your data. Once this is synced then download one of the files you are having issues with.

Ive attached the imagines into this message below i know North London and Goblin isn't and ATS or downloaded Product but that also is causing my Game to crash for some unknown reason. And this is also going to sound dumb but how do i sync my steam cause when i go onto steam and look at Sync status it says "up to date" so is there a way to force sync at all?

(it wouldn't let me attach the first and 2nd pic so i created a separate message below)

I guess this is the key piece you are missing. In Steam right hand click on Train Simulator Classic text on library menu. Select ‘Properties’ and it will open a dialog box. Here you will want to validate your existing DLCs. Not sure of exact prompts as I am at work. This will reset ALL of your current active DLCs purchased from Steam back to the most valid configuration. This should fix most of your problems. If you are still stuck I will add some graphics when I get home.

If you run task manager what is using up all of the memory when it freezes?

Train sim classic is using up the memory but when loading in it only hits about 65-70% when i have that and task manager open so we could be onto a winner with graphics being the potential issue

Heres a SS showing what i mean if anything else is needed LMK
