Often in train cabs in TSW, you see renderings of books and other paperwork. Perhaps these could be made interactive, and load up key parts of the loco's manual (startup, restart procedure, cab desk plan). This way you could solve problems without having to quit and go through training centre, or to another device. I think it'd be a semi-immersive way of providing help.
kind of like using the inactive displays to instead show stuff that usually shows as part of miniHUD or/and track monitor, which wouldnt be 100% realistic, but surely more immersive
