Problem With Bmg Lms Locomotives

I've been having trouble with the LMS Black Five pack and the LMS Jubilee pack by Precision Locomotive Developments (formally Bossman Games).

I can't get either of these locomotives to reach 70mph. I've tried everything:

• Used the small ejector instead of the large ejector
• Used the large ejector instead of the small ejector
• Filled up the firebox

None of those things have worked. What am I doing wrong? If all else fails, then the locomotives will have to be updated with a Simple Mode.

Maximum speed 25 mph - (heritage railways) 45 mph - (mainline, tender first) 60 mph - (mainline, chimney first)

These are locos that ran on the Main Lines - and they did a lot more than 60mph in BR Days.
