Hello, I can now play TSW5 with Geforce Now. If you try it put your local saves in a safe place lol. I'm very pleased wit it. @@++
Hello, "Geforce Now" is a NVidia service which allows to play your games with the Cloud and a NVidia infrastructure so I can have a very good quality on my laptop here. I hope you understand...., I think you dont't need that with your 4900....
It's a shame only the Steam version is supported and not the Epic or Xbox versions. Both the Epic and Xbox (PC) stores are also supported by GeForce now.
I've just tried this with a Frankfurt to Hanau run. It seems to work well, but 3 things to note: Because the game doesn't support cloud saves, you'll need to create a new profile. Only things that are stored on Dovetail Live, such as Mastery progress, will be transferred. You can't install mods, so you're left with the default lighting. Frankfurt to Fulda seems to run better than on my own machine (RTX 3060), but there are still some areas that seem to have a low frame rate.
It's exciting to see this supported on GeForce NOW. Although the game still runs on DirectX 11 and Unreal Engine 4 without DLSS or DLAA, I'm crossing my fingers that working with Nvidia for this signals future enhancements and a transition to DirectX 12 and UE5. One can only dream, though!
Geforce Now isn't the Nvidia app. You'll see a link to Geforce Now on the home screen in the Nvidia app if you scroll down though.
This is very good news for XBox owners because instead of having to wait an eternity for underwhelming sales we now have the option to take advantage of those ultra-generous Steam sales and play content via a GFN subscription. An even bigger bonus for me though because I've already dropped gamepass in favour of GFN (PC sims are vastly superior to those on consoles and well worth owning) so you never know, I may actually start buying some of those bargain bin TSW addons
The biggest problem of this are the shaders. Every session you have a "new PC" and everything stutters so much.
I have an old Nvidia card in my laptop which l thought l couldn’t change? How much is the Nvidia Now card and can l install it on a laptop?
This should help: Edit: In Dutch sorry, free one has ads with a max play session of one hour. (It also has the longest wait time, I guess even the 3rd one has it as well, although shorter)
I have tried Performance mode and it is unplayable. Frankfurt Fulda has great FPS, but stuttering is so bad. I have GTX 1650 and it is better experience to play on it, even with worse graphic settings and lower FPS, because stuttering is not that bad. When I've tried to play Semmeringbahn (this has the worst performance on my PC), it crashed everytime when loading started. Have anybody tried Ultimate mode? Is is better?
Now that TSW is playable on Geforce now: what are your opions? For me it is a way to play some routes my PC can't handle anymore (new PC on the way), but the newer routes look meh . I'm on priority so that means that the virtual machine will probable use a 3060. Yesterday i did Frankfurt Fulda and geforce now realy strugled.
Geforce Now! used to be a great service. However, Nvidia have now imposed a 100 hour monthly limit for ALL subscriptions, even for the most expensive premium bracket. https://www.tomsguide.com/gaming/nv...onthly-play-to-100-hours-for-everyone-in-2025 If you play RPGs or time intensive games, Geforce Now! is no longer a good option.
So all three people who actually use Geforce Now have asked the question. Should be the last thread then....
Yes, that's what you said! But 2 other users have already posted this before you, so your post is pointless.
