    Happy easter everyone,
I may be imagining or falsely remembering here, but didn't those 5 indicator lights on the right side use to work in TSW3? I seem to recall them working on XBOX on TSW3 before I switched to TSW4 and 5 on steam last year, where they don't work. (see below)

Maybe DTG Lukas or someone else from TSG can shed some light, no pun intened, on those indicator lights and whether I'm going senile or if this is actually a bug in the current TSW editions of Niddertalbahn.

Anyone else remember those indicators working before?

No, not unless I to am going senile, but here is a video I made in TSW4, and I have all the dash lights/gauge lights on and set to 100%
I will check in TSW3 in a few and see what it is like there.

Thanks, I've also checked in TSW4 when I got it last year.

As I said, may be I'm becoming senile (a bit too early in my mid-thirties), but it also wouldn't fit TSG and their standard of quality to not have those 5 simple indicators working. One is the doors open indicator (nothing new, TSW2 trains had that), the other ones are brake engaged/disengaged (very simple function) and parking brake engaged/disengaged (also nothing otherworldly to implement).

It simply doesn't fit the skills and the well earned image of TSG to not have those working. It just doesn't add up, they're the last developer that comes to mind when we think about sloppy and half-heartedly created content. Granted, it was their first standalone DLC for TSW, but, as we just heard from Matt P. himself on stream the other day, the head train builder for TSG, Maik Goltz, was there for TSW from the very beginning, creating german trains. And before that most of the Virtual Railroads content for TSC. He and the whole TSG team know what they're doing and they do it extremely well in my opninion.

So before I start to blame TSG, it's more likely some of the many TSW core updates over the years since TSW3 broke those indicators.

So yeah, maybe I'm not remembering TSW3 correctly, but it just doesn't make sense to me.

Here it is in its glory, the 628 with all lights on set to 100% high in TSW3 in Fake 4k.:) I hear ya and understand, and I, too, am surprised, but this has been like this as far as I can remember.

I don’t think those indicators ever worked in TSW. Might be that they didn’t work/were disabled in real life, too - I don’t know.

I gotta agree, these indicators never worked for me either. Not even back in TSW3, it always baffled me.
Same goes for the wheel slip indicator, I think... at least I never had it light up on me, so either it's broken too or I'm just too good at driving my beloved 628

    Exactly :)

Would be great to get these indicators working at some point...

Even if it gets Fixed in TSW6, there is too much going on with everything that was announced, https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2967990/view/547856738465876047
I am surprised the diesel pack made it out; there is much more. And what is a real pain in the Buumm in TSW3 and TSW4, this will stay broken, like so many other things that are still broken in TSW4. And there are still many that have not jumped onto TSW5 and are playing TSW4 and TSW3 as well as TSW2, and YES TSW2020.
Now, if that is the case, that those indicators irl are disabled (A museum piece) or for whatever reason never worked, it would be nice to hear from TSG and DTG. I don't remember seeing any posts on this in the past. Niddertalbahn_Bad_Vilbel__Stockheim_Route_AddOn (TSW3 iteration) is still being sold for $39.99 err $40 Duckets plus Tax, and it's broken, possibly? As well as the one scenario in the video linked in post #2, I do like the BR 628, even the Red version. I did a bit of searching for RW use of the BR 628, and at the beginning of the video, you can see some of the gauges and indicator lights, it's hard to see if any are lit at all, but clearly, you can see PZB is active.

Most of those indicators would not do anything in TSW since the functionality behind isn't present. The 4 brake indicators are only for the brake test, what is not implemented in the game. As i remember, the door indicator is also dead in the modernised ones ( i might need to research that again). The slip indicator should actually work in TSW BUT the train does not create any slip in the game (and barely IRL).

I already thought this might be the case. The 628 isn't exactly known for its splendid traction and acceleration ;)
Thanks for the insight Maik! I was under the impression that those brake indicators would light up when the Mg-brake is applied.
