I created an account on RWCentral a few months ago, and even though I verified my account through the email link my account still needs manual approval. Even now it hasn't been done. I sent a support request a few days ago - no response, although that could be because it's the weekend. My friend has an account that used to work but doesn't anymore. I want to get the SNCF AGC and other files on there but because of the account issues I can't. Has anyone had any success signing up to RWCentral?

The RWCentral website (and RWEnhancer software) is developed and maintained by one person, give him time to respond, he's probably very busy. Edit, just noticed the "months ago" part, it probably got missed or lost, as I said above just wait on response to the support email, if nothing after a few days hit me up and I'll DM him for you.
I wasn't aware that it was just one person running it. I'll wait for a few more days for a response to my support request. It's not urgent by any means, just annoying.

Your payment has been received and approved." my login attempt "Awaiting Approval Your account needs to be approved before you can use the site as a registered member" Contact Us = no answer only automatic response "Your support request is received and will be processed soon. You should receive an answer from the support team in 24/48h."
You support thieves and crooks I do not. There are more posts from cheated people on the dovetailgames forum. Apparently no one has the courage to report this, and it is a crime. It's not about the 24 EUR, it's about this person's criminal behaviour. The person running the RW Central is a criminal fraudster. Within Europe, there is a law if you sell something on the internet. I recommend to anyone in such cases: 1 National consumer protection authorities. 2 Public Prosecutor's Office 3. Police Any payment into that person's account and the failure to dispatch the programme is evidence for the court.
It's the incompetence over malice argument. I've spoken before about an RW Central account I made years ago that never got approved, and a second that I made which was approved within a few hours. Whoever runs RWC clearly isn't on top of everything in the account approval department. I seriously doubt it's on purpose. However, you should always make sure that your account is accessible before making a purchase - this applies to all websites. Give it a day or two, and if you get no response then contact your bank or PayPal (the latter of which you should be using for pretty much any online payment in my opinion) and request a refund. Not only will you get your money back, it'll hopefully be a kick in the backside for RWC.
To be fair, the account approval issue is a real one and has been noted a number of time. It does need to be fixed.
I also purchased RW2 without problems and have renewed my subscription this week without any problems. But I have had problems a couple of times in the past.
I purchased rw enhancer some time ago. As I remember, I had to create a account during the purchase and the verification took minutes. Perhaps the sweet sound of money grabbed the guys attention and got me a quick verification.
I have reported to the consumer protection office. I put a condition on RW Central. (this is about all users) 1. RW Central will start selling honestly. 2. accept accounts within 24 hours* *RW Central can make that in case of payment the account is automatically active. Article 5 Directive (EU) 2019/770 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2019 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services If RW Central does not meet this condition, I will spend my extra money on a law firm against RW Central. RW Central's current practices must stop. I am ending the subject.
I think you're really barking up the wrong tree hear. No respectable law firm is going to take on a case like this, and any that do will charge you an absolute fortune for not much gain. The report will likely be more than enough.
I am fully aware that it is not worth the money. But if no one does it, we will never see improvements in RW and others. I hope that the RW Center will read this and it will not be necessary. It will be enough if they improve their operations. We all want to enjoy correct and good service. I think the RW Centre can easily improve sales problems. The requirements really are minimal. Proper sales. You pay and download the programme. You cannot wait a day, a week a month, etc.
You seem to be the only one having issues with purchasing RW Enhancer 2, as a couple of people over on Steam in your post there have just purchased it with no issues, except for the response time between paying and getting the software.
You mention about having purchased something but have not received the goods. Have you contacted your Credit Card Company to get your money back? A threat of action by them might get RW Central (not center) to do something.
Usually when a refund request is issued, a response will come pretty quickly. I once bought a CD on Discogs that wasn't dispatched by the seller and I didn't get a response to my messages for a month. As soon as the PayPal refund request went through, I got a response within a couple of hours. I didn't get the CD in the end, but the anecdote is still relevant.
I have been offered refunds by a couple of companies for faulty software, and when the refunds didn't show up, I put a couple of claims through PayPal, and they acknowledged that I would be getting them. They showed up in my bank account sometime later.
