This issue has existed for at least eight years. When I click on 'Start,' it does not proceed to load but instead gets stuck on this initial screen. Please refrain from attributing it to performance issues; I believe that an Intel 11800H processor, with 4GB VRAM and 32GB RAM, as well as 3T storage, should be sufficient to handle this game.
If this was a bug with the game rather than your system then EVERYONE would not be able to play the game. But we can so the problem must be with your computer. It seem strange you have had the game for 8 years but have never had it running. Have a look thru this page and if it does not work contact support https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/80000896131
The game scans its contents during this stage. Mostly the scenarios. Try and install just a fraction of what you have. Or rename Content within RailWorks folder (say, Content_backup) and start the game. Your system must have some faulty old content installed. 32bit used to handle them differently than 64bit. Either way, it would be nice if the game would handle those but reality is, TSC is a legacy game without any active development. (We like to hope that some updates will be coming but the observed pace is near zero. Someone spends an hour or two a week looking at the game and that's it.)
Let me tell you why came that, because that damn server always has to load ads, and my location in China happens to have a firewall, so I can't communicate with the server and get stuck. The common solution is to disconnect from the internet/play piracy (which is why a lot of people have genuine products but play piracy)
No bro,This is not stuck in the loading phase. If it is stuck in the loading phase, there cannot be the settings and community icon in the upper right corner. And I think my full speed PCIe 3.0 hard drive cannot load a small test field (covering an area of no more than 20 square kilometers) for more than 1 hours.(Since then, whenever I encountered this problem, I would forcefully close it and play other games)
You asked why I have been able to play for the past eight years; this is a matter of probability. The last time this scenario occurred was during an update either last year or the year before. After that, I assumed it had been fixed, but I encountered it again yesterday, and I spent the entire morning dealing with it.
If I understand now - you have a problem with ONE Scenario amongst the many that exist but you think DTG should spend time and money fixing the scenario It is not going to happen Nothing to stop you reporting the problem to the Helpline
