Liveries Rail 200. Preparations And Ideas For September.

Don't curse us lol. I'm not superstitious particularly, but still But on a serious note, at the end of the day we are making content which we came up with. Our own work. So even if we don't get much engagement, we can still hold our heads high at the end of the day and say "we did that". I think that's the main message really.

so, here is my attempt... will definitely upload it to Creators Club and Train Sim World Community page on Facebook, and as to whether you use it or not, I guess thats up to you guys... dunno when exactly you want to use these, but if you deem this one not fitting, let me know and I will make another one completely different (tho I might do the sunflower still, loving the design ) (also, when is the "deadline"?)

Railway 200 toolkit – Railway 200
The PDF will provide clarity on how the logo should be used and what it should be used with. To use the logo, it is best that anyone who uses it signs the box for the toolkit which involves your email and your company email (or if you are working by yourself, your email again). More info can be found on the website.

 

As much as the livery is quite nicely detailed, make sure that you look at the toolkit before continuing to make sure you follow all the guidelines when it comes to the use of the logo. I would strongly advise that you do look as it could provide cover for your use of the brand.

Okay Lady’s and Gents, Just popping these here to let you guys and TG08 know I’m picking it up and why I get held up along the way.

So back to basics which has (Edit) presented with same old problem surrounding this colour match theme.
When I pull my socks up I’ll be hoping to make a start on MK3 rakes and possibly even formations. But I will defo need help for that. Formation order and carriage TOPs numbers etc. I am not great so again anyone that knows the insides an outs about class 43 rakes etc then please drop a comment.

Okay now a few interesting shots here for you, to display the results of a slight colour shift on the Rail 200 logo. I’m not happy tho as still trying to keep to the swap colour unit theme, the logo colour is giving me a right headache.

Here’s 43 803 “Pen y Darren” in Moc GBR concept livery as a quick refresher on the unit colour swap.


And now for a long delayed 43 825 “Locomotion No 1”. I was shutting down the 395 I’d brought from one my TSLP paint shops. I hadn’t seen 43 825 out the paint shop yet and so wanted a better view before one the lad move Her again lol. Any thing on my plate now, investing why She’s was moved

Which leads me on to what slows me down or hiders progress.
Working on the front and rear of the lower protector. My minds gone blank on its real terminology.

This is on 37 501 “Teesside Steel Master” for the Greatest Gathering if it make it in time.
I know it should be there now like the real one so soon as get the front yellow and the back black like the real loco then I can’t release it.

If it does go on display then it has to be faultless. Or the best of one’s ability.
I’ll work all night to try get this done. Look at the decal number too so, getting close to running out. Hey ho, I think I have built some redundancy in.

I’m looking at doing a formation too, sadly that’s when I had the crash seen on the first photo.
Just got one done now actually using 390 013 tho.
So if anyway has any suggestions of a possible formation then again please drop a comment. Oh and is it normal for the models to appear like this in Formation Designer?.

The only thing I'd say is not working on 43 825 is the logo colour. It looks too dark, especially when it is cast onto the blue. You would have to squint to actually see it. However, I don't know what colour would make sense to change it to, especially if you want to try steer away from using red in the best way possible .

That's a lot of liveries there... you definitely need some talented livery painters to help you with that one .

Yes, this is an issue with not just Livery Designer, but Formation Designer too. The model often pixelates itself as if you are playing on a Gen 8 console... I wonder how many other people have experienced this issue?

Yeah. It's good to get a livery that you have put so much effort into released onto CC. I'm sure people will enjoy it .

Yes, the models shouldn't be pixelated like that in both LD and FD.

How fast were you going lol Yeah formation designer is bugged slightly. But I'm on 8th gen which could be why.

I am currently working through a plan for my next releases and I will try creating a roadmap of sorts to reflect this. However, I will not be setting dates for these as this will only overcomplicate things for me on my end. I'll try sharing this roadmap later, however I need to discuss this with the TSLP Team so that we can discuss any additions that they may have to this roadmap, etc...

I do like the livery you have done and should be proud. Again you have worked hard on it so I’ll try short something but I can’t promise anything at this stage ok.
Also I would be more involved with your other FB links and content but I was blocked by FB because they said I was impersonating someone.
I was using TSLP to try something on FB. But no they blocked me and so with that I am not giving them my face.

Anyway to try pull you idea back to the core theme of Railway 200, Can you find some historical connections between the two countries?
That way your still keeping the UK and Ukraine theme but more rail oriented then one of war or political subjects.
Something we can’t use.

Yet UK and Ukraine not a problem if you can find some historical links or even mix UK them with Ukraine. (Rail Themed)
I’m sure we could short something. But please like I say I can’t promise anything because I need to speak with my Team.

On a personal note then I’ve had a few disappointing experiences. A low but that just makes the good times better.

No I’ve shorted it as I write.

The work on Locomotion No 1 is in colour. Yellow. So if I used Yellow for the logo I may just get away with it.
Leave the lower font black. How would that sound?.

Yes I do have a lot on when it come to work matters here. I have no plan as such so I can be more flexible and adaptable to conditions.
I get held up by say waiting for others to drop some historical information say for 390s.
Plus the high level of detail and testing also makes things seem busier than it is.
Work back ups the more ideas I have or even get involved with.

I simply feel if I can share my ideas with others then it’s a great way for all to be included even build stronger relationships with other skilled community members that share the same interests or passion. So yes if I add a business slant to all this in a role play sense of the word then if you interested then the door is open for applicants to apply for a position with TSLP Paint Shops

Mmm ya see never experienced this once on PS5, the odd hick up say on TSW4 on first release but again I can’t remember it happening much.
I did one test with two 66s no problems but what you see is what I was faced with. They look like the cars from Ridge Racer on PS1 haha.
And not sure, I did have a crash so if this happens to others and is a reoccurring issue then I’d say it’s a problem.
I can live with the graphics as it only making a formation. But the game pausing causing me or users to shut the game down is not ideal for anyone.

And thanks man. I know in the world of true rail enthusiasts that accuracy is important to them.
Why if I had more knowledge about things a could get things out sooner. No research, so that why I’d need help with formations of anything else that would make the work I do better for the end users. Your enjoyment and experience using a high quality product.
I can waffle here all day but it’s getting a perfect livery out as a community.
Users can have a part in everything I do for the benefit of all.

So please TG08 you know when I haven’t a clue I will offer those with that knowledge a position
A position of if you can take it and turn it into something then it’s all yours.
You tell me what to make and I will. I can do it on my own but how highly complex some of my work is then as I say to do the research will just gribble me and the R200 project. And to be CEO of HOOKHAUL too adds a lot away from this Project.
Personally work as an individual community member.

I can take the pressure as I love it to be fair. It’s probably when you get the best out of me.

I do my own Roadmaps anyway, so I know how to handle it . I'm sure if JPlayz can do something similar to my Roadmaps (and not just a copy-paste job either), then I'm sure we'll all handle it just as well as I do with my own Roadmaps.

I think this goes back to what I was thinking about that Sunday, how long term is each member willing to devote.
If I could establish that then yes some form of road plan would be good. Especially if TG08 and you are happy to run with it.

I said to TG08 about setting a basic frame work up. Ie self man management so you worked to your own time scales due to personal situations. The freedom to create in that set time frame you have set.

Now again going back to that Sunday I felt as did and still do which is having to look at this seriously and in the longer terms.
I could have then arranged some short of plan or Road Map. Structure to the project. A time frame.
Yet doing on my own in being firm with a time frame was adding pressure something I didn’t want to add so early on.

I wanted us to be free, no boss as such, free time free to create. Not be all big boss man over it and demand from my time by giving each one a set task and have it done in a timely fashion. To keep the project on schedule.

That’s what I did, with hundreds of men, not two

I can be a Boss a leader to get the Job done. Put again that’s pressure and a different mindset and way of speaking.

So yes we can discuss all these matters, but TG08 are you looking.

Before we do then I will say this gents. I have a table being booked soon. So have your cards ready. I want to show you mine and I want to see yours.

We will discuss in time. One step at a time. I’m not fully ready yet chaps.

Hey I can’t today as I am busy on here. Plus like I said I feel we need to lay the cards on the table before we discuss what direction to go.
I want to build a bigger team basically for my own side of things. I feel having those with the knowledge I don’t have will give others the opportunity to be involved.

I feel TG08 has some decisions making with his own threads and work etc. A feel each member has to come to some tough decisions making stage. Yet could we build on that away from R200. A lot is going on and why I feel if we can be open and transparent about how we feel and what direction we’re all considering. Then again we will know what path to take and what actions to take.

Sorry if you felt I put a downer on things but don’t look at that way. Remember if my environment is bad so will my thoughts and feelings.
Like any animal, I react on instincts.

So you can train a Dog but it will still have its natural instincts.

Cheer up tho, I’m happy and I’m sure we can all have what we want. If we want it then build it.
Make something happen by not talking about it but doing it.

No Lee it's fine. We did talk about adding other members a few weeks back anyway so it's okay really. Plus, even with my knowledge, I don't know much about heritage stock, but someone else may be more familiar with it. I get what you mean I do. I'll make the roadmap over the weekend and I'll try seeking advice from TG08 if he's happy to do so. I know he suggested it, so I might take him up on that offer. He has far more experience with the community than me so it would be greatly appreciated.

The next set will be completely overhauled to make future version easier to do.
I will let you in on a little secret. A Class 43 but with its internal structure engines etc all drawn on the side. It’s a difficult task but I’d like to see it done. Push the boundaries of what’s possible and how far I can push myself and skills.

That livery will need my full concentration so I don’t get lost. I’d have to work on it for say 18 to 20hrs on the basics in one go.
To get my teeth into such work I need time. I want my work to get serious now. “Pen Y Darren” loco drawing too around 10 hours.
It’s complex stuff for the head to get around. So it must stay in the zone to get what I want.

So I’d have my own thread as does each member. There they will place their own work and projects as they will with work related to here.
We just place work here as a central location for all to see.

The community may not be interested in any individual member of the Team, but if they are interested in the Rail 200 thread and them then that’s what we the Team are trying to achieve.

So sure man, I’d do that. And for the livery it’s about seeking inspiration from around us. Have fun with it, the world is full of inspiration.
We just need to be open minded and seek. It’s all there to be found mate.

It’s fun at the end of the day not a competition. Everyone doesn’t get paid for what you or I do, doubt the others do too.
We do it out of passion not for glory.

Glory is only given after passion and determination to achieve something big. Glory is not one man’s gain, Glory is for every man that gives Glory to those they see fit to be Glorified.

We earn by working hard for others, not expecting Glory for self gain and by doing nothing big. A change for all.
Different and sometime that means looking else where for inspiration other don’t look.
