It may depend what version of the mod you have, I don't have the latest 1.06 version, I think I had maybe 1.04? installed which didn't work on TSW5, kept crashing on loading screen, once I removed it, TSW5 loaded in fine. I have the free version of TSW5, not that it should make any difference like.

I will need to get around to downloading v1.06

Edit: Yep, downloaded v1.06 and works

The latest version works perfectly with TSW5. Drove East Croydon to Brighton only last night.

i got a question, would it be possible to have the mod to also include the 377/2 from WCML south to layer on to running the East Croydon to Milton Keynes run? Or would that not be done as this timetable is foucsed on thameslink?

I can add any other services, not only thameslink. Problem is that i dont have timetables for that, if you provide me data then i can add it. Should be from the 2018 - 2019 (thats basically version which is the TT now)

i am unsure where can i find timetable that takes places around 2019. I went to the sites that I know off however none of those have data for 2018/2019
the cloest thing i found was this
    https://www.southernrailway.com/-/m...s---9-dec-2018---18-may-2019/gtr1812ptt36.pdf
however I have no idea how to read this and confused why did they have brighton and birmingham on it. where did you find the timetable services for thameslink?

The timetable you’ve linked to shows the East Croydon - Milton Keynes services. Brighton, Gatwick, Northampton and Birmingham are shown to give visibility of the connections. So the times of the East Croydon - Milton Keynes services themselves are shown in bold. The times shown in fine print are connections.

The services up the WCML to Milton Keynes are already in the vanilla and class 700 timetable (headcodes 2Mxx and 2Oxx), just run with the wrong subclass.
In the current timetable they are run by 3rd rail only class 377/4s, but when the timetable was set they used dual voltage class 377/2s. This is because the WCML uses overhead wires, while in the south they use third rail.
All you would have to do is change the subclass of these services from 377/4 to 377/2 (both are 8 cars long) to make them realistic.

If your able to, you could enable some 377/2s to sub onto 377/4 services as they intermix in real life (just not the overway round).

I think I've found a small issue with the timetable on the 19:57 class 700 9T58 from Brighton to bedford, where at gatwick airport, the gatwick express has to wait at red for my train that leaves a few minutes later. I think that service should overtake mine. Might happen at other places as well

Hi. I am unsure what happened to the timetable but when I tried click on the 377/4 timetable. None of the brighton and london victoria routes are available for me but its only when I go on foot then I was able to pick up a service to london victoria from brighton.

trainsimcz Hope you're doing well. Not sure if you're still updating this mod, but there seems to be a problem with route XP when your mod is installed. The XP earned is still accumulating, however the XP required for the next level sits at -1. When I remove your mod, all is as intended. Someone suggested here that it may have something to do with you renaming the route.

Hi, i will check that... its possible because i changed the name but not the scoring file. Im still working on version 2.0 which will include some more services and 24h loop... as im doing that in my free time with some other projects it takes little bit longer.

I’ve been using v1.06b since last May. The 700s are too powerful after that update.

Hi trainsimcz, first of all congratulations on your work with the timetable, the variety of services is amazing. I wanted to ask you if you will put AI services at Clapham Junction for class 378 or class 350 simulating South Western Railway class 450?

    Hi trainsimcz,

Firstly, I just want to praise the incredible work you've done on the London to Brighton timetable so far. It really brings the route to life. I'm also thoroughly impressed with the way the services mainly interact well - goes a long way to show how much more capable the programmed signalling in TSW is compared to TSC.

A few minor bugs I have noted:
    1. Gatwick Express service from Brighton to London get held, usually at Haywards Heath and Gatwick for the 9Rxx Thameslink services. The Thameslink services get given priority and delays the GX services - it seems to be a limitation of the simulated signalling system - I'm unsure if there is a workaround.
    2. Southbound GX services (London to Brighton) are usually held at Purley for the Thameslink service crossing from the Redhill lines. This delays the service by circa 10 mins by Gatwick and results in losing time to Brighton owing to following a Thameslink from Haywards Heath.

I appreciate you've chosen to recreate the real life timetable on one of the UKs busiest roues, with one of the most complex timetables so this must feel like herding cats at times. If it's a limitation of the games ability to cope then I'm sure we can live with it!

In terms of the timetables you are looking for, below is a link to the historic archives of Network Rails Working Timetables. It may take some time to get your head around the layout of the tables, but if you want the full details of every service, this is your document! It's technically to be read in conjunction with the sectional appendix (also linked below), if it helps with planning.

    Working Timetable (WTT) Archive:
Working Timetable | Network Rail Corporate Archive (Link to archive for all WTT books)
2019-12 WTT | Network Rail Corporate Archive (If you're working around the 2019/2020 period, this is the December 2019 timetable, which covers December 2019 - May 2020 - you will require section WF for London Victoria to East Croydon, and WE for East Croydon to Brighton. Section WK covers freight, although these are somewhat more difficult to get your head around.

    Sectional Appendix:
    networkrail.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Kent-Sussex-and-Wessex-Sectional-Appendix-March-2025.pdf
This is the definitive document for the geography of UK routes - it is essentially a huge map book.

Note: Both of these documents are incredibly extensive and take a bit of time to understand.

Thanks again for all the hard work you've put in so far - it really does make the route so much more lifelike and I'm sure many others thoroughly appreciate it!

There is an AI SPAD at 08:50. I can't find which train is responsible, but I know it's not me because I'm sitting at Haywards Heath with my doors open. All I know is the service is suddenly aborted.

Forgive my ignorance, where do I find this timetable mod to use in TSW5?

I can’t seem to find it on the trainsim community TSW5 section.

Perhaps if you had read through the topic you may not have gotten such a terse response?!
‘CBA’ seems to be the norm now!

The norm now is for ill mannered and at times offensive replies from members of this forum to other user’s posts.

    Kindness costs nothing

DTG Alex perhaps moderators need to start being seen to be taking action and be more proactive against the minority on here who are very quick to self appoint themselves as moderators and introduce conflict unnecessarily onto threads

I agree that kindness costs nothing but sometimes people don't help themselves by looking for the info first - if after then one cannot find the info they are looking for then asking is fine but as I said in my previous post a ‘CBA’ attitude seems to be the norm nowadays along with people being very sensitive!
Besides, I don't think anyone has been offensive in their replies to you.
I hope you enjoy the 700 services btw!

You are very welcome. Give someone a fish, and they'll eat for a day. Teach someone to fish, and they'll eat for a lifetime.

Back again with an even less useful contribution. You seem to have lost your way, this is the train sim forum, not the fishing forum. Granted, DTG dabble in both, but maybe use the search function to find said fishing forum
