If anyone has any advice installing this on the Microsoft store please let me know! I'm having problems installing it previous mods have worked for me
Having already played this I can highly recommend it. Transformed the route from a quiet backwater into lots of activity with all manner of traffic.
HI bud, I've still not managed to get the edited stations directory to PAK correctly, can you give me some screen shots if possible? ta very much
Create new plugin (CrossCitx) Create same folder structure as original (Scenery - Stations) Copy Station Directory from original to new plugin. Edit new Station Directory. Cook new plugin. Make copy of plugin and rename to original (CrossCitx -> CrossCity) Delete Content and Resources. Rename .uplugin and open & edit contents of .uplugin (CrossCitx -> CrossCity) Rename folder at CrossCity\Saved\Cooked\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Plugins (CrossCitx -> CrossCity) Open all files with Hex Editor and replace CrossCitx -> CrossCity. Under Distribute Menu, select plugin (CrossCity). Leave Original Plugin unchecked, check TSW5 Plugin and click Distribute. Rename Pak file if desired. Note: Move the modified plugin (CrossCity) out of the plugin folder before you restart the Editor. This plugin should NOT be in the plugin folder when you start the Editor. After Editor has loaded, you can move the plugin into the folder and Distribute as above. Again remove folder.
I've been trying to get this working for several days now, and follow it step by step for my RSN 2006 timetable but in the game it stops the original route locos from showing. Also, if it loads before the original route pak then the route doesn't work at all. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Hey I downloaded your TT pack and took a look at your station directory using FModel. I noticed you have a uplugin and upluginmanifest which suggests if you are using Muff's Editor Tools that you checked Original Plugin. As you are replacing the station directory this is not an original plugin and you want to leave that unchecked (as default). Give that a try and let me know if it works.
I've tried all options whilst packing it, leaving it unchecked still caused the same issue. The only thing I can think of is that in order to cook it I have to have it in the base plugin folder rather than the DLC folder, therefore, the folder path won't be the same as the original RSN route. I'm happy to send you the modified station directory, if you don't mind taking a look?
I've got it working now! I had to add in an extra folder named "DLC" into the file structure and then package it using TSWpak tool instead.
