This Month's Case Study: (TG08) The Mildmay Blues (37/40/66) We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08, to talk about the scenario (below) '(TG08) The Mildmay Blues (37/40/66)', that will release next week . Would a railtour like this occur in real life? TrainGeek08: "Probably not. If a railtour was to run along the Mildmay Line, it would most likely be double-headed, or ran in a top-and-tail formation rather than being triple-headed." Will you update this scenario when the Richmond extension releases? TG08: "If you guys remind me! Of course I will. It'll mean you could follow a stopping service along the route, and it'll make the scenario duration slightly longer too. Might need to watch the signals though if that happens..." How long does the scenario play for? TG08: "The scenario plays for 25 minutes as you drive through the suburbia of North London, and meeting several Class 378 'Capitalstars' and Class 710 'Aventras' whilst doing so." Why 'The Mildmay Blues'? TG08: "Well, the Mildmay Line is blue on the Overground network, and the locos propelling the tour are all in BR Large Logo blue livery, so it all fits together. Any railtour companies wanting to use that name, then give me a shout!" Who made the liveries for this scenario, as they look really good? TG08: "Well thank you! They are made by me. Shameless self-promotion I know, but I appreciate the compliment. Thank you!" Will you do more triple-headed scenarios in the future? TG08: "We'll see... Watch this space." Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us . Railfan Location Reveal: (for one last time) In this segment, I will announce the location of where my railfan scenario will take place each month following great feedback on the potential of me doing railfan-style scenarios. (Enjoy this segment whilst it lasts... because this segment will disappear from next month.) June's (and the final Railfan scenario's) Location is... (as correctly guessed by tomtrainboi#1289 and rigsby#3981) ...Newark Penn! TrainGeek08: "From what I've seen in testing, the scenario works really well with some action from trains coming into/out of the station. The scenario plays for 25 minutes so pick your spot and take some pictures." More will be revealed soon... Conclusion: Anyway, this is it then, hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below. From me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement, enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye . Release date changes: N/A
Busy Busy, I like how your braking it down tho. Easer for me to understand anyway. I have a similar approach with my liveries. Or my Job book as I like to call it. On one note of constructive feedback is on shameless self promotion Would using others work along your work feel more closer with the community?. I now you do a lot of that anyway, so I feel odd saying what I am. Yet if you were thinking about changing the format slight (Adding more of your own (Edit) work) would that decrease user interaction?. My thoughts Rigsby. ✌
The shameless self-promotion was just me being in jest. I involve work by the community a lot anyway as you say. It’s great to have a mix of both. The format isn't changing that much. It's just that segment that is disappearing. The Q & A style segment is remaining, so that's at least something for the community to look at and get a laugh out of some of my answers . TG08 .
I thought it was, but can never tell with you You’re hard to read at times. Actually can I just ask why do yo do the Q&A?. I do apologise if it’s a silly question. Cheers TG08. Rigsby. ✌
So, I come up with the questions myself (as if I was an interviewer asking them), but I also answer them (as if I was myself) . It gives people an idea of what occurs behind-the-scenes that even the community don't see on the Releases & Updates thread . TG08 .
Yes I see that, it’s a good way to let others know without asking the questions I guess. The benefit to that means saving time. Cheers again TG08. Rigsby. ✌
Hi train geek, you could be the right person to help me with with cc uploads. Would u happen to know of a way to upload content from pc editor to creators club?
Aside from some release date changes, it stills shows liveries and Scenarioes that released already Unless this was intentional, or maybe I misunderstood
This was last month's Roadmap, and this month's one will be coming either this weekend, or next weekend . It's all completely intentional. TG08 .
Yeah, pretty much . It helps to give people an overview of what is due to release after the date of the Roadmap releasing. TG08 .
